I never tire of rewatching the prologue.
also the mask doesnt muffle his voice.. he has a microphone inside the mask.. you can see the cord at his neck in several shots .
I think the mix of accents (that people have heard) matches Bane being a mercenary - having travelled the world.
I hear West German with British being the anchor, in the prologue.
British (or even South African) with a hint of Russian in the trailer.

Yeah, pretty much a mix. Really suits him as a mercenary-type character.
I was thinking this too. To be honest, and I know people are gonna want to kick me for this... but most of the time it felt like I was just hearing Eames with a synthesized voice and more menace. It's amazing how many different accents people heard in Bane's voice in that prologue.
It was mostly in that line where he first speaks to the CIA *****e about "shoot[ing] a man before throwing him out of a plane." The funny thing is literally the first half to me sounds like Hardy, whereas the next half sounded like a unique iteration of Vader's voice which was barerly recognizable as him.Really? That's interesting, I really don't hear Hardy in Bane.

One thing Ive noticed watching the prologue and trailer is that I don't really see movement behind Banes mask when he talks, like he isnt really talking and maybe some of his dialogue was done as a voice over after scenes were shot... Anyone else notice this?
Seconded. I did the same with The bank scene in TDK and by the time I saw it on the screen I swear I could've recited the f**king dialogue in my sleep.
