If it's any consolation, I'll probably end up going to see this with my mother who will laugh at me for being so excited about TDKR.

I'm taking my mother to see it as well, and she's excited to see the prologue .

Some of spider-Man's best storylines are dark.


I'd say his uncle getting murdered by a thief he let go is pretty dark. His best friend's dad killing his girlfriend is pretty dark. The entire symbiote saga is pretty dark. Those 3 alone are some of the most famous Spider-Man arcs ever, are extremely dark and are entirely awesome.


Not to mention that this film is not dark in any sense of the word. Read the SDCC descriptions and you'll see.


And yes, this film is shaping up to be really, really awesome. At least in my opinion.

Not to keep this Spidey tangent going (although he's probably my favorite comic book character aside from Batman), but Kraven's Last Hunt, which was really, really dark, is probably my favorite Spiderman story.

And you're right. It's not exactly dark. Just more mature as someone else mentioned. Still loved Raimi's stuff, though. But I'm excited for this one as well.

Anyway, we're expecting news tomorrow, right?

Here's some cool trivia I thought of, just to past the time:

1.The Dark Knight Rises Prologue allegedly depicts a plane hijacking.

2.It premieres before Mission Impossible 4.

3.Mission Impossible 2 also began with a plane hijacking.

4.Hans Zimmer scores both scenes.

Therefore..

Hans Zimmer's music for his second hijacking scene will premiere before a sequel to the movie which contained the music for his first hijacking scene.

Tomorrow our time, BUT IT'S 8:20 AM IN RUSSIA RIGHT NOW.

So.....If the Expo was at 11:00 AM Russian time(doubt it), that would only be 3 hours from now.

9:30 am USA time or Russian time? If Russian Time then the TDKR expo could be happening in Russia as we speak!

You probably meant USA time, so yeah another 10 hours or so. Good thing I can sleep most of the wait then!

In all likelihood, only the trailer was shown at the Russian expo.

And in all likelihood, RIM won't be able to spill anything, as was the case for the Avengers trailer.

I imagine RIM will give us confirmation of what was shown, but I doubt he'll go into details.

Just gotta hope someone decides to spill the beans after Thursday's screening.
