I've got tons to show for it! In less than a year I overtook the massive BOF, which has been around for 13+ years. And I'm not just talking web traffic, I've got TONS more Facebook fans and Twitter followers too. The fact that so many people love what I do is what's most rewarding to me.

Celebrated 1 year this past September. It flew by!

I never mentioned the other site. What I said is true. Why, if your site is the #1 Batman site, do you not get set visits or prologue screenings. No one has answered those two simple questions.

As with everyone else...moving on.

I recall Pfister's comments, but what did Freeman say exactly?

Because my site is just 1 year old and I haven't built up any kind of relationship with WB yet? More people visit my website than any other Batman site online. That = #1, in my opinion.

Not much though:
The most exciting thing about it is watching the openings, I’m telling you. Doing it, it’s fun to work with Chris Nolan. He’s really a terrific writer, a terrific director. One of those highlights of your career.

Freeman said "The most exciting thing about it is watching the openings, I’m telling you."

But he was referring to the opening weekend, not the opening scene. "Openings" is an industry term for first weekend at the box office.

This. Freeman wasn't talking about the opening of the film, he was talking about the box office.

It was Pfister and Freeman

The prologue is the plane scene.

Freeman said absolutely nothing regarding the opening sequence of the movie. Wally Pfister is the only one who said the opening sequence of the movie will "blow your mind."

Drew McWeeny at Hitfix, November 21st, 2011:

Our first best look at what he's got up his sleeve will be the six-minute prologue sequence in IMAX that is playing exclusively in front of the 70MM IMAX engagements of "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol." The people who I've talked to who have seen the six-minute segment just smile at the mention of it, and I've been told to expect something on a much larger scale than the opening bank robbery from "The Dark Knight" which played in front of the IMAX prints of "I Am Legend." That's going to be the moment where we really get a sense of what tone to expect from this one, and I'm willing to bet it's going to be very different than either of the first two films.

I'll be dead smiling like Jack Nicholson before MI4's opening credits even begin to roll.

If I find the opportunity to, you can count on this guy...got a great HD Flip camera.

But there'll be something up on the Tube most likely before the 16th.

more interesting to me is how this place is going to be once the prologue is shown.

Not the excitement and the various GIFs conveying happiness but rather the acceptance of how different this film is going to be from the previous two. I've seen a couple of posters who have seemingly got it but the majority still don't seem to get 'it' quite yet and that's not a fault by any means.

Scope and Tone those are really going to be big discussion points soon

To be honest one of the things I'm looking forward to in both the prolouge and trailer are the color palettes.

Will be more than appreciated, buddy! I'm sure we have some good people out there willing to help their unfortunate fellow Hypers. :woot:

To the best of my knowledge, ChrisB has never flaunted the fact that he is SO WELL connected, nor that he has ACTUAL connections. So that argument/statement seems null and void to me.
That's because Chris is the absolute TRUTH.

Legit with a capital "L" ... no flaunting, no self ego strokes, no vague insinuations, no faulty information.

The Bat-movie informer we deserve ... ; )

I'm glad someone else is! What level of beauty has Wally Pfister reached this time?

If rumors are to be believed he's out done himself.

Jesus christ... I really wish the noobs on these forums that try to stir trouble would be banned on sight. I've seen tons as of late that appear to register sorely to call established members out based on nothing.

It really irks me that I won't be seeing the prologue in an IMAX theater this time around. For The Dark Knight, I remember how awesome that experience was; sitting in that beautiful IMAX theater, with the huge screen, etc. The lights go dark and the blue flames come up- and it was just mind blowing; probably the most memorable movie-going experience for me. It was thrilling. And I was so looking forward to repeating that experience for Rises... Then I find out my IMAX has converted to digital! :cmad:

And now... I cry. :csad:
