Just read through last nights......insanity......appropriate warnings and infractions being sent.

Keep it clean in here....if you want to make a crude stupid juvenile sexual comment about things.....DON'T. If you think it's funny to spam the same smiley 20 times....DON'T.

It really amazes me how much you people want to be negative nancies . The reviews has been amazing vut your harpiing on the voice .... For crying out loud ...

I think Bane's voice just hasn't been dubbed yet given he said they just barely started editing it. Though Nolan says in the interview how he doesn't like ADR, he's gonna have to dub it.

Gary Oldman said they were overdubbing everyone's lines b/c of the loudness of the IMAX cameras, so it makes sense that Bane will get overdubbed too.

I'm not worried about it.

I think it's great that the prologue has gotten so much praise and that Nolan has once again pushed the bar for action sequences.

It seems the general consensus is that it's better than the bank heist or at it's very least, just as good.

So far so good things are looking up for this film.

It would be a MASSIVE problem if Bane's lines stayed this way, but they won't, so complaining about it seems like a waste of time.

Idk, if he's already releasing it to the theaters he must be satisfied with it.

I want to know where is the setting of the scene of Bane holding (and throwing?) Batman's torn mask! The sewers? A public place?

Bane's dodgy voice isn't that much of a problem, like someone said here, it's probably an effect of the loud IMAX camera if anything. At it's worse it will probably be like Ken Watanabes voice in Inception...a grower. I doubt his voice will be that bad the whole film. As for people complaining about a british accent because clearly all brit accents are about serving tea....well you know how useless your opinion is anyway.

To be honest I just think thats how people talk in Nolan's films. I can still barely hear a word that Gary Oldman says in the trailer in the hospital bed.

And here I was hoping Nolan would of learned something from TDK... The really only negative criticism from the movie was Batmans voice (which wasn't a problem in BB but with all the added bass and tremble in TDK it became distracting at times).

I'm prepared for another year after release of Batman/Bane conversation parodies that involve loud screaming and subtitles... sigh Hope it changes. Also pray we get the BB voice.

What was wrong with Ken's voice in Inception?

I can understand Oldman in the teaser, but never when he spoke softly in TDK.

Alot of people couldn't understand Ken's engrish accent. Which is understandable because of the syllabic nature of the japanese language, but people eventually get used to it. It shouldn't be a problem, im sure if he was completely unintelligible in the film Chris would have sorted it out.

He still has time to sort out the imax scenes as well.

I don't know if it's been posted already, but here is a video blog on the prologue from FirstShowing, SlashFilm and Collider: http://vimeo.com/33385867

After the screening was over, I was allowed a quick second to shake Christopher Nolan's hand. I had to ask. "Are we going to be able to understand anything Bane says?"

This was his response.

"Probably not. He has the mask on, the apparatus, and he has the accent. It's a tough one. He's incredibly hard to understand. Of course, the whole movie doesn't take place on a plane...This insures that you'll go back and see the movie a couple of times in the theater."

Either you know something others don't or you're making a giant, unsupported assumption. Nothing points to this being anything less than the final version. The Nolan crew knows full well how Bane's voice sounds.... they've known it for months. No doubt, this issue has been raised several times in the edit room. The idea that they'd put forth an incomplete piece, and say....meh....it'll be good enough for now, seems unlikely.

Nolans like "Don't like it well don't watch my $%@*ing movie"

Movieweb: "Are we going to be able to understand anything Bane says?"

Nolan: "Probably not. He has the mask on, the apparatus, and he has the accent. It's a tough one. He's incredibly hard to understand. Of course, the whole movie doesn't take place on a plane...This insures that you'll go back and see the movie a couple of times in the theater."

That's been Nolan's attitude towards his actors performances since forever though.

He trusts their interpretation and what they're doing and doesn't really like to mess much with it.

That sounds fishy to me. Especially that last bit. Isn't Movieweb an unreliable site?

Plus when Frosty from Collider asked Roven if we would be able to understand him in the film, Roven didn't say a word. I can't imagine Nolan doing anything more than that.

Frosty said that the silence Roven gave might have also indicated it was a better question for Nolan.

Movieweb got the chance and asked him. I don't think they're making that up.
