This exactly.(which I doubt because of the last bit)
"I like trusting that moment and the choices you make because nothing is ever completely perfect....to me that's the shooting period, I trust that" - Christopher Nolan
Ha, so glad I will have subtitles! For once living in a non-english speaking country brings something good.![]()
Complaints about his voice, eh? Kinda how people complained about his voice when we got that set vid? :\
Either you know something others don't or you're making a giant, unsupported assumption. Nothing points to this being anything less than the final version. The Nolan crew knows full well how Bane's voice sounds.... they've known it for months. No doubt, this issue has been raised several times in the edit room. The idea that they'd put forth an incomplete piece, and say....meh....it'll be good enough for now, seems unlikely.
Would you ever shoot a film only in IMAX?
Oh, it would depend on the film. I don’t like to use ADR sound — I don’t like to record the dialogue afterwards. And so, unless they could make an IMAX camera that was quiet enough to shoot dialogue scenes, I think I’d always want to go to 35mm, or 65mm like we did with Inception.

His philosophy hasn't changed. He'll probably go back and clear some of the background noise and whatnot but I think he wants to leave Hardys performance as intact as possible.
I see. Hopefully it isn't as bad as people are making it out to be.
"Probably not. He has the mask on, the apparatus, and he has the accent. It's a tough one. He's incredibly hard to understand. Of course, the whole movie doesn't take place on a plane...This insures that you'll go back and see the movie a couple of times in the theater."
I don't know why Nolan wouldn't change his philosphy in this case. Bane should be understood. If the audiences can't follow their main villain then it's going to be hard to follow a lot of the plot. Can't he make an exception? The complaints are valid. Plus pretty much all the reporters were in agreement that he was hard to understand. That isn't good.
