I think he said "iconic"

I'm so looking forward to this ep tonight.
my bad, it's not really iconic either, just gives a nice oooh and ahhh.
anyhow, it's nice to be talking positively about SV for a good run of episodes, doesn't happen very often for me.
I think when all is said and done, my thoughts about this brilliant veritas stuff, is that we the audience should have known about it, in one way or another, since the chris reeve episode way back when (if this has in fact been the plan all along). Introducing these interesting connections now, feels like this was a patch job at the end, to tie up loose ends. Had the concept of Veritas (in one form or another) existed in the backs of our minds since the early seasons, I think the overall feel of the series would be improved.
Patchjob or not, what they have done with the veritas stuff is great. Much better than the level 13 which never really happened.
One thing that I really liked about the episode, was the indirect explanation, finally, of why Lionel never sold Papa Kent out, about the adoption and whatnot.
and lastly, every Clark Lex confrontation was brilliant. 1) at the crime scene, their interaction was great 2) at the mansion, even better 3) the graveyard.
although they didn't speak in two of those scenes, they spoke without words.
