7.19 - Quest - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

If you can't beat them, join them.

Lex uses the thing he has as a key to a clock in the church which unlocks a little shield with a symbol on it. He finds out his fireplace has the same symbol on it, so he brakes the frame and finds a black ball. He places the shield inside and it creates a hologram of the world and pin points the location of THE FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE.

Next episode will be a showdown between Lex and Clark.
bumping this to the new page.

Ok what's up with all the Da Vinci Code crap ?

this is so awesome. I wonder if the whole episode of Arctic will take place in
FOS

Yes that would be great. I'm thinking we will go away from it once though to watch

Chloe get thrown into the big-house

Chloe will probably get thrown into "the big house" for switching places with Lana. And what if Clark doesn't come back from the FOS because he starts his training at the end of the episode after Jor-El does some memory adjustments and then sometime in Season 8, (story wise it could be a few years later) have Clark return. His years of absence could be a cause of his break up with Lana. Then, halfway into the season, Clark sets out to fight Doomsday and use flight and have his costume for the last two episodes to finish him off in a big battle in Metropolis's streets.

chloe switches places with lana? does this occur in "Quest"?

Oh man wouldn't all those 'chlois' fools poop themselves if Chloe switched places......with Lana.:hehe:

Seriously though are you just speculating because this is news to me.

Chloe and Lois get together!? :wow::up:

if chloe becomes lois, I will jump off a building.

Not really, but I'd still be pissed.

Yeah he's The Doc from Voyager...

...we already have Superman related guest stars appearing, Why do we need Trekkies now .

I know what a Trekkie is, I just wondered who you were calling a Trekkie. I don't remember Voyager existing, which means nothing of course, was it on long?

<SIGH> Yes, he's the Doc from V'ger. Yes, some of us here like SF in general and are also Trek fans. AFAIK, I've seen every episode of every Trek series at least once (some so many times I've lost count); I just don't think I caught the last movie or two.

D/C does indeed have BSG's supposedly human doc as the guy on the plane. I didn't realize who it was at first because of the accent. Guess this is a Doc-vs.-Doc showdown. Whose fans will turn out with more force, V'ger's or BSG's? Stay tuned...

Why does it say "TRA" on the bottom of this planter? "Traveler?" So, are there more that spell out the rest of it?

Nah, you're reading it wrong. It says "ART". It's symbolic of Clark destroying the monk's lifelong work (his art). ...j/k.

Could he be any more superman??. This pic reminds me of brandon routh holding the DP globe in SR :P. hehe, tom looks better though :cwink:

This is an awesome photo. Tom's in a typical Supes pose (lifting a heavy object), with the right colors and expression. Just need to sweep that hair back a bit and add an \S/ on his chest and it's close enough :-> Only thing I don't like is the distracting spotlight in the background that points away from the action. It's like we're in a movie theatre and that's the projector, and Tom's saving the show.

Hey, BR looked fine with the DP globe - this is simply a better costume! <LOL>

epsiode was alright not too good or not too bad juts average stuff

mostly set up for sesaon finale

i liked the forshadwoing of whole clark and lex's rivalry

not as good as apocalypse, dedcent, veritas and tarvveler but certainly MUCH better than hero and sleeper

^^^ episode wans't bad but i thought in the end something was missing

episode didn't have intensity and seriouness like Descent, or superman mythology like apocalypse and it didn't have campyness of sleeper or feirce

Ok, that is just disgusting... :(

What is the POINT of having some deranged monk poser carving up their chests?!

This whole Veritas/Traveler thing made little sense to begin with, but it's getting a little over the top... ridiculous.

Well the episode turned out quite well. BUT WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING WITH CLARK, INTENTIONALLY TRYING TO MAKE HIM APPEAR ******ED? It just seems idiotic, that Clark would not understand his importance, when everybody else in the episode, who infact all know less than Clark, knows more. BDA full on in this episode.

But a great follow up to apocolipse, and a great cliff hanger to lead into the finale.

to each his own, some of us LOVE dark and morbid **** like this. Plus, EVERY season, 1 of the last 3-4 episodes is a PARODY of another movie or tv show. They've spoofed SAW, HOUSE OF WAX, FAST AND THE FURIOUS, and it looks like DA VINCI CODE here

can't wait for this

it seems out of place, but it's not too bad. Mr. Teague's motivations are int he right place: he wasn't torturing Clark, he was torturing BDA

i don't think he was that much BDA like in sleeper but he wasn't much proactive like he was in apoacalypse

TW sure knows how to use clark's character perfectly unlike other directors

i m sure in Arctic proactive clark will return since every sesesaon finale has him acting all supermanly
