The Dark Knight 7 Minute Prologue of The Joker attached to IMAX screenings of 'I Am Legend'

Has anyone informed Jimmy that his posts are not funny and are instead just annoying and clutter the board up or am I taking a bold step in the right direction?

I thought we could be friends. I have many recipes. Let's share them. :yay:

TRIPLE-CHEESE MAC ATTACK
Makes 6 servings
2 cups cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
Garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 cups extra-sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
½ cup Swiss cheese, shredded
1 (7-ounce) package elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, salt, garlic salt, and black pepper. Add cheddar and Swiss cheeses and blend well. Cook macaroni as directed on package and drain well.
Add cooked macaroni to cheese mixture and blend until well coated. Add macaroni mixture to a greased 2- or 2½-quart baking dish and bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes.

All the best.

Dogs and cats living togetherrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!

^LOL!

im not saying its a "bad" thing to do something burton didnt do (although nolan is kinda pulling a "penguin" on us with joker), just that it would be kinda cool to explain a little of how joker, well, became joker, in nolans batworld. in all the spiderman films they show how the villians came ot be without becoming all about the villians. why cant nolan do somethin like that?

(although nolan is kinda pulling a "penguin" on us with joker)

Not really.

Burton totally changed Penguin's look and motivation [which were awesome]. Joker has essentially got the same costume and appearance, and his motives are pure Joker.

And that a problem because....?? I mean, I know you love Burton's penguin. ;)

Well, many already know about his origin with Burton & the comics, so we don't need to see another origin. I always thought Joker is better without knowing who he is. That more scary than knowing who he is. Like Michael Myers. The killer is better without knowing his origin, thought Rob Zombie ruin it with the Halloween remake IMO.

Because the Batman films are different than Spidey, what else?!? ;)

I think Joker should never have a definite history..NO ONE should know who he is, not even Batman. Kinda like some people said about Vader a few years back.

Jimmy! how could you! That was Our Recipe!

hehe...what did jimmy get banned for?

Probably already been mentioned, but it appears that Joker has white make up smudged on his clothes in every single picture we have received thus far.

Wow, you actually like what Burton did with the look of Penguin? DeVito waddling around in an obvious round fatsuit with mutated flipper hands and black gunk dribbling off his chin...? I mean, like what you will but I just thought that whole thing was just...off.

Because Nolan doesn't want the joker to have a known origin
He has even said himself that he wants to keep things close to the first two joker stories, and his joker is just that: A mass murdering sociopath who we know pretty much nothing about. He was created to be a mystery....this way there can be many different theories about what happened to him.

It also creates a little less sympathy for the villain; in spiderman, the villains were portrayed as sympathetic (sandman's accident, ock's loss of his wife, eddie's "humiliation"). By not giving the joker a chemical bath or such, the audience doesn't say "oh, yeah he's a psycho, but the guy DID fall in that batch of chemicals". by not knowing who the joker is, the audience is detached from him, the villain, and will feel more attached to batman, the hero.

So this is ONLY in IMAX, and not in regular theaters as well???

The nearest IMAX for me is like 3 hours!! Please tell me it's in regular theaters!!!

It'll be online at some point, my only wonder is whether it'll be officially released (good quality) or bootleg (bad).

Some people who work at theaters are saying the regular ones get a normal trailer.

Dunno if it's true though.

Oh we'll get a trailer at some point no doubt. I don't think anybody was disputing that.
