I know, but you know me Rene...I'm just trying to be nice to all sides involved. I'm more of a Clark/Lois fan...but that is the Superman fanboy in me. ;)

Oh, I know what a sweetie you are, B8.

Me? Notsomuch. ;) There's just no way I can ever feel sorry for Chlarkers not getting their Chlark or Chlois.

True, Chloe has always been there, its just Clark was so much in love with Lana, he missed out.

He didn't miss out so much as opt out. :)

It does sound like they are going to explore whatever feelings there are beyond friendship between the two though. The Fever letter is a likely trigger for all this.

Now that she knows Lana is out of the picture, if Lois thinks that her cousin still wants Clark, it makes sense that she'd try and be supportive of her.

As someone said, KK is not back till November. Anyway, Lana is not that evil, so it could be Maxima if she does back to back episodes (4 & 5) or another villain.

I like the sound of the episode already. Reminds me of the Lois and Clark episode where they had to go undercover as a newlywed couple.

or the first half of Superman II

oh dear expect chlarkers to jump in joy

lois and clark posing as couple this will be fun to see

why cant people just be fans of the show and stop bickering over rampant stupidity like who makes the best couple w/ Clark? Not to mention the outcome is predetermined of who "wins." It's like going to the track and having 2 of the jockeys tell you before hand that their horses have broken legs, and yet you still bet on them to win. My god, our fandom sucks....

This should be some fun, comedic moments for the episode hopefully.

Unfortunately, any fandom has its dose of idiotic fans, compulsive bashers, and shippers, which in SV's case, is because of the CW that believes leading characters need to have a love interest to please part of their superficial and dumb female audience. So this year we have more love triangles to keep this type of crap going.

What is even more ******ed, is the moronic people that think Chloe will become Lois because the real Lois Lane will die in Smallville. This is really sick, it shows how deranged some people are, but they're just a very tiny minority, most fans laugh at them anyway.

We should wait and see how things will turn up on screen instead of *****ing and complaining all the time. Yea i too hate what the cw thinks is good for business and they really need to change their ways and have a bigger demo.

I know the mythology aspect of the show is what's entirely more cool to most people (especially in these parts) but I don't think it's fair to belittle the viewers who do watch the show solely for the love and relationship angles.

I know some of these people, very well... my daughter and her friends. :) They aren't "dumb female's" either (offensive, much?). They don't know or care anything about comics or the mythology, they watch it for the core characters and their stories. I can't fathom why their opinions mean any less than yours.

Quoted for Truth....comic fans forget that sometimes they are not the only audience the show is made for. :p

Ditto Serene!

I have an friend who actually hate Smallvile, just because the mythology thing. I know the mythology and I respect it too, Smallville is a 2.0 Superman story version, and I'm so glad for they have been doing this!

Be careful man, some of what you say may be true, but there are a good amount of female posters around here...

I don't look at this season as more love triangles than ever, I look it at they need to explore these options finally to end all questions or to get it rolling. (Clark/Chloe or Clark/Lois). Its better to open things up and close them forever than to have feelings linger around....

People who want Clark to end up with Chloe are usually the people who do not know anything about comics, which I understand. Most viewers of shows, that happen to involve relationships, get a sense that when the series is over, which 2 persons should end up with each other and I tell you, if it wasn't for mythology or comics, mostly everyone would think Clark would end up with Chloe....

There are many layers to fandom suckage, grasshopper. Shipping is but one of them.

"Bastardizing the mythology" claims being another.

;)

Serene, all fandom sucks. Smallville from what I've seen if good natured even if there are arguments(although I admit I'm not behind the closed doors of some areas;))
Doctor Who fandom is awful though. accusations of racism and homophobia fly like no ones business. perspective is a joy to have :D

They're misinformed to start with, that's why their opinions are ignorant, Smallville is mainly about how Clark Kent/Kal-El becomes Superman, the mythology of Superman, love triangles are just a CW marketing tool for a very specific demo. If people like a show about a comic book character, is their responsability to know the basics, this would eliminate a lot of the nonsense going on some forums. Ignorance is not good for the mind.

It's a good thing there are dictators like you to tell everyone what their TV viewing responsibilities are.

To think that some lazy slobs are just watching the show regularly and enjoying it for what it is without even being able to read Kryptonian! Shocking, I tell ya.

Ignorance is not good for the mind.

LOL! Okay.

^^ You're overreacting, if some people prefer cheap angsty drama is their problem, the ones deluding themselves with Clana or Chlark when is going nowhere are just frivolous for ignoring the Superman mythology, like it or not.

Its a tv show, its ok to be frivolous

LOL! Okay.

Since I am a Superman fanboy, yet I enjoy the show for what it is...a unique retelling of the Superman legend...without griping about the changes, does that make me a lazy slob too? :csad:

I'm glad that there are people around here to tell me how I should be watching.

It sounds more like it's your problem. The cheap angsty drama lovers don't care why you watch, why do you care about them?

the ones deluding themselves with Clana or Chlark when is going nowhere are just frivolous for ignoring the Superman mythology, like it or not.

It could also be said that it's frivolous for fans of hardcore Superman mythology to continue to whine about Smallville's history of featuring relationships, when they should know by now that while SV may have the same ultimate destination, it's paving its own path to get there.

Dude what's your problem? It's a TV show. A TV SHOW. People enjoy watching it for what it is, and if you don't like it, then don't watch it and don't go to a SMALLVILLE forum.

^^ Sorry to break it to you, but I like the show, I'm not one of those compulsive bashers, thank you for not paying attention before posting.

Angsty drama is one of the reasons the show is not as good as it could be, most fans don't like the Clanadrama and the triangles, is the CW that wants that.
