She was a campy sex vixen in that movie, so she gets a pass. ****, she was a sexy Alzheimer's victim. **** too soon. :argh:

Damn, I really dig Kane's suggestion. Key and Peele hosting would be gold!

I was thinking Key & Peele would be absolutely perfect for the Oscars.

I'd really like Neil Patrick Harris to get another shot, but if not, Key & Peele would be perfect.

Look at them get someone as bland as LL Cool J to host. :o

Whereas Redmayne was one of the worst things in his film. :p

I saw pics of the Everything is Awesome segment from the Oscars.. :oldrazz:

That is like a bunch of your friends and family celebrating your birthday only to realize no one had any intention of giving you a present.. :csad:

Colbert should host the next Oscars. He doesn't need writers, just let him go.

Lego Oscars are cool, though.

Gugu's need's a blockbuster film so she get's more recognition. :o
Gugu was in Jupiter Ascending which bombed
Transformers The Movie would have had this in the bag as best animated feature film in 1986, .....no seriously! :woot:
Transformers 1986 is still the best transformers movie in my opinion :cwink:
If you were to tell me that the double agent from Die Another Day would still have a strong career in 2015, I wouldn't have believed you.

I've always thought Rosamund Pike was a solid actress but she got stuck in a rut of playing bland generic love interests in mediocre movies for a while (Surrogates, Fracture, Doom, ect).

The thing is she's getting more acclaim now than anyone else in that film currently is.

I am really taken aback that Big Hero 6 won for animated feature after How to Train Your Dragon won at every other awards show including the Annies.

Not disappointed though, I think it was a better film than the Dragon sequel.

I liked the Lego Movie and Boxtrolls each much much more though. Laika's day will come.

Interstellar's award is a big win for modern practical effects but damn Dawn of the Planet of the Apes deserved it.

Disney making a big comeback. Snap-Snap. The Revival/Second Renaissance is not dying down any time soon.

I don't mind Birdman winning despite me not being crazy about it. But despite Redmayne winning, this does a little better to negate the criticisms of the Academy for going for "safe Oscar movies."

But yeah, NPH... you're just not a good fit for the Oscars.

The highlights were Everything is Awesome and Lady Gaga. Other than that a bland ass show.

They can't find a happy medium with hosts. Either they're too scathing or they're too safe.

It's tricky. The Academy just doesn't want to offend and they take themselves too seriously. Yet you want to be short but that's at the sacrifice to it being boring. The essence is about handing out the awards, you can't get away from that. By now viewers should know what they're in for meaning they're going to watch people just win awards and make speeches, rinse and repeat.

Get someone fun to let loose and make it bearable. The host isn't the centerpiece of the show, as proven when they pretty much become non-existent in the latter half.

All these bells and whistles are just apart of the muddle. Putting a good show ain't a bad thing, but ****, it's an Award ceremony.

And Chris Pine's lone Indian tear. :funny:

Kane have any gifs of Terrance Howard's emotional awkwardness, or Travolta's excessive touching? Or of that woman during the pre show who awkwardly was hugging/touching Patricia Arquette while she interviewed her? I need gifs of these things in my life and you're my guy Kane!

Kane is not some machine... or at least a mindless one. :o
