Wow! Amazing chapters, Rob!! In Chapter 11, Sarge and the guard were pretty... dumb to be fooled by a man like cmill. What I didn't get was... it looked too easy for cmill to get his cuffs off. Was he cuffed? I didn't get quite a clear picture on his escape. Maybe I need to read it again?

Plenty of action and deaths in Chapter 12. Didn't really expect for Kmack to get shot. Not clear if she kicked the bucket. I thought she did but then cmill told Emily to "go over and help Kmack". I guess she's still alive?

SML died too quickly, imo. She deserved to be tortured first for her double-crossing. Speaking of torture... why didn't Mister J invest in the Iron Maiden? I've told him repeatedly that that thing will be of great asset to him.

C.Lee... is he a good guy? I don't trust anyone in this story. *wary*

I wanted to acquire an Iron Maiden, but a certain, seductive, now-deceased, female assassin ran up my expense account with some rather dubious and self-indulgent purchases. The people at Torture U-R-Us weren't trying to hear that IOU stuff.

So he picked the keys with his mouth. Dropped them on the floor. Then somehow get his cuffed hands that are behind his back to pick the keys up. Then somehow managed to picked just the right keys to unlock his cuffs. All these happened in a matter of... 5 minutes? Sorry I'm so dense.

2 days Later

Kmack had made it,they'd gotten her to the ER in time and while she would need a lot fo recuperation time she was gonna be fine,Emily was treated for shock and a few bumps but other than that she was ok and allowed to stay in Kmacks room even though social services would be taking her eventually

Cmill's blindness was temporary and his other wounds would heal in time,he'd made a deal with C Lee to turn the disc over to him even though C Lee was retired on the record,men like him never really retired

Cmill went to Kmacks room before he discharged himself to go and meet C Lee,she was sitting up in bed playing cards with Emily,as soon as he entered Emily ran over to him and hugged him

Cmill:"Hey Emily,how are you feeling ? are you looking after Kmack ?"

Emily:"no silly that's what the nurses are for"

Cmill:"Oh right ,i thought they were just here to look good"

Kmack:"Hey she's to young for those jokes heh"

Cmill sat on the bed next to her

Cmill:"How are you feeling Kmack ? i thought i'd lost you there"

Kmack:"Im sore as hell,i'm not used to this stuff like you"

Cmill:"Are you going back to the church ?"

Kmack:"Nope,i can't but i am still gonna work with the church group,with the children that need my help,i think that's where my calling lies but i'll just be a regular person......I'm also gonna try to adopt Emily"

Cmill:"Has she no relatives ?

Kmack:"just an uncle who lives in Australia and he doesn't seem interested,they barely know each other anyway"

Cmill:"That's great,you'll be a good mom"

kmack smiled

Kmack:"So what are you gonna do ?"

Cmill:"I don't know,i'm gonna give the disc to C Lee and end this whole thing,after that.i don't know"

Kmack:"Why don't you stay with me for a bit and maybe if i get Emily we can stick together"

Cmill:"It's not that easy Kmack,i'm on the FBI's most wanted list,ive killed a lot of ppl and they don't just let that slide"

Kmack:"Can't C Lee do something about it ?"

Cmill:"I don't know but i'll ask him when we meet later"

Kmack pulled Cmill towards her and kissed him

Emily:"ewwwwwww kissing is gross"

kmack and Cmill laughed and then Cmill said goodbye and headed off for the meet,but first he had to collect the disc

He made his way to the meet with C Lee,the disc had been hidden in the inside of him,he'd swallowed it and got it back the only way how while in the hospital.

They arranged to meet at Kmacks Church,Cmill was dressed in a black coat with black shades covering his bruised eyes,C Lee was waiting for him when he got there

C Lee:"Here we are again hey kid ? funny how these things play out"

Cmill:"Yeah it is..here's the disc"

Cmill handed it over to C Lee

C Lee:"You really were the best i ever trained Kid,i never bull****ted you with that"

Cmill:"About the hit,has it been called off ?"

C Lee:"Yep,they know we have the disc so there is no point"

Cmill:"That's good.....i wanted to ask you one more th......"

The church door swung open and a Japanese man in a long coat stood there

Cmill:"i thought you said..... "

C Lee:"enterthemadness was never here to kill Emily,you were always his target....you finally came out into the open,you can't just go around doing what you did and think it will be ok,did you think the Agency would just forget the mess you made in Colombia ?"

Cmill drew his gun but enterthmadness was quicker and threw a star into the barrel of it forcing it to implode.....enterthemdness pulled a sword out from underneath his coat

Cmill stood there looking into his eyes....he knew this day would come....With one quick movement enterthemadness drove the sword forward and through Cmill fatally.......he fell to the floor

Enterthemadness wiped the blood of his sword and left,C Lee knelt down next to the dying Cmill

C Lee:"I'm sorry kid but that's how the game is played,the balance that you disrupted needed to be restored.....you made everyone look bad especially me,that's why i;m here,i wish it could have been different"

Cmill coughed up some blood and spoke

Cmill:"s..so th...this was y..y...your mess to cl..cl..clean up ?"

C Lee:"If you look at it that way yes"

Cmill:"C...c....collateral damage right ?"

C Lee:"You know that better than anyone"

Cmill:"Y.....Yeah*Cough*....that co...collateral damage...sure is a b1tch"

Click....C Lee's eyes widened...BANG!!!!

Cmill had a second gun in his pocket and smoke was coming out the barrell,C Lee slumped down next to him

C Lee:"Why didn't you...you..use it on the Ninja"

Cmil:"No way i was taking him on this day so i settled for you *cough*!

C Lee:"Well i guess this is it,heaven or hell kid .not sure where we are going"

Cmill:"I got someone praying for my soul.....how about you ?"

C Lee looked at him and then his eyes closed.....Cmill could feel himself slipping away but he felt peaceful,dying wasn't so bad.....maybe now he could see Kate and Sophie again
