Abomination In Hulk 2!

Well, at least we have SOME news, although it would be better if we got something a little more concrete. But if it happens, Hulk vs Abomination will be the best on screen one on one ever!

I was hoping for the Abomination. Actually, I just wanted some news on a potential sequel, but this takes it. We should be able to get much more action in Hulk 2 and with Hulk having a viable villain, this could be really badass.

Well I was hoping for some news whatever it was going to be. I am happy to read it is in development and they are talking about Hulk 2.

I can understand them doing Abomination as it is straight forward plus creating the Abom cannot be very different from creating the Hulk using CGI.

Hopefully the news on this will start to pick up now, they need to get the ball rolling if they want a 2008 release.

Sounds good to me, im lookin forward to seein abomination on screen that should look crazy!

I can just imagine the fights, (drools!!!!!)

This is really good news and makes me again hopefull that we will infact see Hulk 2 be made.

I just hope they manage to make Abominations origin be original and clever and don´t just take the quick and silly way out in order to get to the actions as fast as possible.

I liked the first Hulk movie and I'm looking forward to the sequel. I think Abomintation is a good choice for a villain and the fights between him and Hulk can be really great.
I hope they get the cast from the first one back, but I suspect another director will get chosen.

I think it would be really cool if they held off Abominations look until his first encounter with the Hulk. And i think Abomination should win their first fight.

I do not see how they could do it any other way. There cannot be much psycho drama going on in a scenario where he is facing the Abomination so therefore the only thing could be a battle where he ends up overcoming the odds. I am actually guessing they will have Betty invent a machine to reduce the Abomination's power.

The only thing is they cannot do the growing thing or they will turn into giants in such a battle.

They wouldnt have to reduce Abom's power in any way, just have him do something that would the Hulk off in a big way, maybe hurt Betty or something. No matter how powerful Abom is, Hulk can grow stronger.

I know but given I don't see what Betty could do in this movie and general policy to empower the female character I would think they would work it in somehow. Of course, I would prefer if they did not but if we remember the Abomination origin, Banner used a machine to reduce the Abom's power after he beat the Hulk.

Oh, man, i hope they BOTH talk in this film! And no fifteen foot tall giants please! Let's keep it relateable!
(as much as possible)...

We don't need to go backwards with the Hulk. I say keep him the same as in the first movie, because most people that saw the first film will wonder what the hell happened to his size since the first movie. Besides, he wouldn't have been able to throw that tank if he was a regular man (Lou Ferrigno)size.

Sure he would! Size and strength are two totally different things.

As far as audiences wondering "what the hell happened to his size since the first movie", that's easily handled with a simple voice over by Banner at the beginning of the film explaining that the Hulk's power has stabilized over the past few months. Hell, they could even tie it into his final battle with Absorbing Dad from the FIRST movie.

i'd buy that

i like the whole stabalized hulk thingie u said

i mean this film is going through real time

so its will be like 2007(2008 release??) in the film

banner would have had the hulk for

hrmm
2003,2004,2005,2006,2007
5 years

he can be all like "its been 5 years since my accident, while the hulk's power has stabalized and he has started forming small words, i am still cursed. His rage is focused, he is stronger, the mutations go faster, i feel only 1 second of a pain that used to last hours...."

Abomination's in Hulk II.

Can't freakin' wait.:D

I would still prefer his original 15 feet size plus the talking part would be great!
and Abomination rocks for a baddie as well!

I'd like for him to stay at least nine feet tall, and I want Abomination top win their first fight, so The Hulk doesn't seem all powerful. Pretty much like I want Spidey to lose his first fight to Venom(or GG2, or Sandman).

everyone has been saying that since 03, Abomi has to be way too powerfull for Hulk, but he still doesnt give up. Abomi has to be tall than him too, say Hulk is about 8ft tall, they should make Abomi about 9 or 10ft tall

I hope they have a good 8 mins fight at the end. 1st one should only last a few mins as Abom should beat Hulk easily.

Agreed. Just like their first fight in the comics.

I'd prefer the 15 foot tall Hulk too.

However, you "small Hulk" guys have to consider the standards and continuity that Marvel set. Hulk was never really a "normal" sized creature to begin with, and a lot of people that aren't familiar with all the incarnations of the monster will be confused. What I will go for though, is if they worked in the Banner-controlled Hulk (black tank top & clean cut) somehow. Maybe he could experiment on himself to try find a cure, and instead of a cure, the Banner intelligence is the side effect. He'd then have the knowledge to beat the Abomination by the end of the movie.

Personally, I think it would be better if he STARTED in control of the Hulk at the beginning of the movie, then regressed to HULK SMASH mode during the big fight.

I thought I saw waaaay back when that Avi wanted the grey Hulk in #2. If that still sticks thats gonna make Abomination alot stronger.
