Actors You Just Can't Stand.

Hey man, not everyone has to think Bale is the best thing ever.
Point out the part of my post where I said that specifically.

Oh, that's right. You can't because I didn't say that.

And uh, you'll notice I highlighted Bill Hader too.

As for Madsen, the dude has been typecast post-Reservoir Dogs. It's really not an actors fault if they get typecast, because they can't find or don't get offered work that allows them an opportunity to grow.

What have you seen him in where he played a drastically different character than the ones from films he was in after Reservoir Dogs?

Am I the only one who thought Channing Tatum was the best thing in Fighting?

Ashton Kutcher is my most hated actor. He is just disgusting.

Wow. Just wow. You know, sometimes showing some insight and wit trumps smashing the keyboards to a pulp with your fists.

Tom Cruise - I think he can act, sometimes very well, but sometimes I'm just put off watching or buying a dvd because he's been in it. Sometimes I can really enjoy a performance of his, but he still is somewhat offputting. Maybe it's the scientology thing, or riding down the premiere line of Batman Begins on his big motorbike with his chick on the back seat, trying to steal Bale's big moment. Those kind of things.

Arnold Swarztenneger(sic) - Again, I think it's some of the personality coming through, but this guy cannot act. He does have screen presence though, so I can enjoy a AS movie. But I can't stand the guy.

Adam Sandler - the only things i have enjoyed watching him in was Punch Drunk Love and Wedding singer, everything else has been a nightmare of watching a so called comedian/actor gurn his way through.

Peter Sellers - the only movie i think that he's been as good as his rep is Being There. I liked Dr Strangelove too , but I just don't think the guy is as funny as he himself thinks he is, and that rankles me.

Any twins in movies - i have never seen a pair of twins in a movie that can act. worst set of twins are the guys from Matrix Reloaded, can't act even when silent.

Hayden Christensen - Just no excuse for his pish acting in SW.

Steve Martin - apart from Planes, trains..., Man with two brains, and maybe the Jerk(haven't seen it all), i can't stand watching him.

Tarantino - his acting is awful, apart from in Dusk til Dawn where he is alright. As soon as he shows up in PF the level of acting is lowered as much as it possibly could without being a complete joke, his voice barely sounds loud enough for the microphones to pick up.

All of the people in the 'Carry On' films - the British comedy masterpieces, I can't stand any of the regular cast or any of the films, absolutely unwatchable ****e of the highest order.

David Spade - is there someone on Earth who has actually laughed at anything this guy has done. How does he survive going under the title 'comedian'? Does anyone dig the spade?

Sean Connery - another one where the obnoxious personality just comes through too much for me. Please don't have him in the new Indy Jones, he was good in the 3rd one but no more, anymore of taht act and he'd spoil the original. I do like Goldfinger but can't stand Connery, just one of those things.
You can just tell he's a p**** as soon as you look at the cover of LOXG somehow.

David Bowie - love the music, hate the acting pretentions, his short turn of the weirdo in 'Fire: Walk with me' is awful, he can't even maintain an act for that long. Haven't seen Labyrinth, so maybe I've missed his best act.

I used to like Will Ferell, now the only movie of his I actually like and can stand is Elf.

The Following and i will give reason...

Adam Sandler - i just cant see why he is considered funny. His comical nature he portrays in his films feels forced and taken from the simple forms of comedy... along the terms of speaking with a funny voice to acting stupid. Now dont get me wrong as a person i guess he could be quiet nice but he should really do soppy romantic comedies where he tries playing his own age character instead of a grown up child.

Ben Stiller - I like him alot but he is oversaturated in the types of films he does. I think Ben should move away from movies or at least give it a rest.. maybe only do Night In The Museum 3 and Meet The Little Fockers. but i think stiller could direct his energy in creating the next wannabe Ben Stiller.

Will Farrell - anchor man was ace, but all his movies since then have been the same repeative story told again and again and again... the premises... Will Farrells character, is at the top of his game, suddenly falls either to someone better than him or his own demises, after going mental he slowly crawls his way back up to the top winning the hearts of all the cinema goers by the end of the story... So basically ive just explained the plot of Anchor Man, Talledega Nights, Semi-Pro, Land Of The Lost,... he did used to play a veroity of roles, my favorite being Mogatu in Zoolander, Frank in old school and Big Earl in Stasky and Hutch.... Big Earl was the only thing funny with that entire remake... Will please return to your ray of different characters and stop appearing the same plot movies.

Zach Braff - he was good in the first series of scrubs but that show never really recovered after that, and what has he been in since. He got one of the biggest send offs when he left scrubs but would that happen to any other unknown actor whose only been made famous by one show? least when house leaves house we can say, good old Hugh Lorrie. Who started in blackadder and so forth.

I've always felt that with David Spade, he is a good actor but has never been given the right tv series to star in... He's best defining role today was on Just Shoot Me... That worked for him. Since then nothing he has been in suits his personality...

Agreed.

 x 10000000

Hader isn't funny at all.

As for Bale, I just don't like the guy. There hasn't been a role, interview or anything that I've seen with him in it that's made me like him. Sure, I'll admit that some of my dislike for him stems from reasons that aren't exactly "good". I think he's an average Batman, at best, so it annoys me to hear that he's the best one ever, and physically, facially, he looks like the type of guy I'd want to punch a few times.

Labyrinth was fun to watch when growing up but I wouldn't use it as a great example of his acting, especially since he was singing a lot in it which is what he does. I do have to say he was pretty good in The Prestige.

Did you see Adventureland or Into the Wild?

ADVENTURELAND, yes. She brought absolutely nothing to the role that a thousand other average to subpar-with-slightly-good-looks actressses would have. Haven't seen INTO THE WILD yet, but I don't expect miracles. She's just so damned bland. Real bland, not that I-hate-this-person-because-they're-huge-like-Tom-Cruise bland. She's attractive enough, and her acting actually manages to make her seem unattractive. She just lacks any kind of real charisma.

how can anyone not seen Labyrinth in their lifetime?
I never saw Labyrinth:o. I really liked Dark Crystal though.
And I don't care much for Bowie as an actor anyway, like I said before I'm not really into Rock Star or Pop stars moonlighting as actors, it's a very different job imo, and being good at one, doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be good at the other imo. And that goes for Rap Stars as well.

So you either dislike mentally challenged people or use their handicap as a pejorative? Lovely.

The only choices? How about this one: Mentally handicapped people have an excuse. Sean Penn doesn't. Don't try to paint me as someone who is not sensitive to people who have disabilities because that couldn't be further from the truth.

What I'm saying is... almost every character he portrays is about the same. Like Harvey Milk. You couldn't tell me you didn't see Sam in there. Sean's mannerisms bug the hell out of me.
