Actors You Just Can't Stand.

Megan Fox
Ralph Fiennes
Jack Black
Eddie Murphy
Clive Owen

Vin Diesel
Ashton Kutcher
Paul Walker
Channing Tatum
Vinnie Jones
Megan Fox
Steven Seagall
J. Lo (though in Out of Sight, she was beyond awesome. :o)
Beyonce (if she counts)
Warren Beatty (for the same reason Sarge pointed out)
Katie Holmes

All of todays effeminate, interchangable, young actors, Shia, Pattinson, Effron, Bloom, Elijah Wood, Paul Walker....

Bunch of girlie men. Bronson, Van Cleef, Scheider and Heston are spinning in their graves.

The only choices? How about this one: Mentally handicapped people have an excuse. Sean Penn doesn't. Don't try to paint me as someone who is not sensitive to people who have disabilities because that couldn't be further from the truth.

What I'm saying is... almost every character he portrays is about the same. Like Harvey Milk. You couldn't tell me you didn't see Sam in there. Sean's mannerisms bug the hell out of me.

Penn was immense in Carlito's Way, Colours and Casualties of War. I suggest you check them out.

And honestly, I thought Channing Tatum was BRILLIANT in A Guide to Recognizing your Saints. As was Shia. And I do usually hate their work.

He is an ******* though :D

I don't really think I hate any actors to be honest. I think some seem to be pricks from what I see in the press and what not, but really, why believe the press and the tabloids?

couple i forgot...

Samantha Morton - when she starts that wailing and screaming in Minority Report I just can't bear it. Don't know what it is, she just rubs me up the wrong way somehow.

John Wayne - this guy is one step away from Foghorn Leghorn. Never been able to get into a John Wayne film.

The cast of Firefly/Serenity - I'm a big fan of Buffy and Angel, I read a review that said this show was just as good so I bought the boxset. What a bunch of wishy-washy adventurers, couldn't get into it. I was curious about what Whedon would do with his 1st feature film and I enjoyed Serenity when I saw it at the cinema, but I wasn't exactly sober, bought the dvd but don't ever feel like watching it.

Jennifer Connolly - she is very beautiful to look at , but every time I've watched her in a movie it's as if there's a sheet of glass cutting her off from the world, as if she's just not that into where she is or what she is doing, can't connect to her performances, and that can be annoying.
Between her and Bowie maybe this is why I've never bothered with Labyrinth.

OK, I see what you're saying. I thought you were calling him "******ed" in an unkind way.

How can anyone hate Ralph Fiennes?

No idea, it boggles the mind. On a similar note I can't wait to see him as Hades in Clash of the Titans. :woot:

Second go around for him and Neeson since Schindler's List.

Well, you can't really blame Wood. He was pretty much spot on for Frodo who in the books was a hobbit who didn't have any adventures in the first place. I like Shia, And Bloom. I like those type of heroes where they're not likely to be heroes. The ones who are heroes on accident. I guess it depends on how much you can indentify with them or not. I can love actors like Arnold or something, that's great for straight up action escapsim. I can identify with guys like Peter Parker or someone like Elijah Wood because I'm not really that tough or badass. So I mainly like my characters relatable. Ones that I can imagine myself in those situations because I could never pull or be like Arnold or Eastwood. But that's just me.

I like Elijah Wood. He seems like one of the more 'down to earth' guys in Hollywood.

Tom Cruise - I think he can act, sometimes very well, but sometimes I'm just put off watching or buying a dvd because he's been in it. Sometimes I can really enjoy a performance of his, but he still is somewhat offputting. Maybe it's the scientology thing, or riding down the premiere line of Batman Begins on his big motorbike with his chick on the back seat, trying to steal Bale's big moment. Those kind of things.

Arnold Swarztenneger(sic) - Again, I think it's some of the personality coming through, but this guy cannot act. He does have screen presence though, so I can enjoy a AS movie. But I can't stand the guy.

Adam Sandler - the only things i have enjoyed watching him in was Punch Drunk Love and Wedding singer, everything else has been a nightmare of watching a so called comedian/actor gurn his way through.

Peter Sellers - the only movie i think that he's been as good as his rep is Being There. I liked Dr Strangelove too , but I just don't think the guy is as funny as he himself thinks he is, and that rankles me.

Any twins in movies - i have never seen a pair of twins in a movie that can act. worst set of twins are the guys from Matrix Reloaded, can't act even when silent.

Hayden Christensen - Just no excuse for his pish acting in SW.

Steve Martin - apart from Planes, trains..., Man with two brains, and maybe the Jerk(haven't seen it all), i can't stand watching him.

Tarantino - his acting is awful, apart from in Dusk til Dawn where he is alright. As soon as he shows up in PF the level of acting is lowered as much as it possibly could without being a complete joke, his voice barely sounds loud enough for the microphones to pick up.

All of the people in the 'Carry On' films - the British comedy masterpieces, I can't stand any of the regular cast or any of the films, absolutely unwatchable ****e of the highest order.

David Spade - is there someone on Earth who has actually laughed at anything this guy has done. How does he survive going under the title 'comedian'? Does anyone dig the spade?

Sean Connery - another one where the obnoxious personality just comes through too much for me. Please don't have him in the new Indy Jones, he was good in the 3rd one but no more, anymore of taht act and he'd spoil the original. I do like Goldfinger but can't stand Connery, just one of those things.
You can just tell he's a p**** as soon as you look at the cover of LOXG somehow.

David Bowie - love the music, hate the acting pretentions, his short turn of the weirdo in 'Fire: Walk with me' is awful, he can't even maintain an act for that long. Haven't seen Labyrinth, so maybe I've missed his best act.
I can relate:o. Like with every rock stars, pop stars or rap stars, I can't really forget their music star persona. Like I said two very different professions and being good at one doesn't mean you'll be good at the other imo.

Bowie is also beyond good and evil. Maybe you don't like how he acts but then you remember any of his songs and that's it--you can't really kill the guy. And yes, he was good in The Prestige. His eyes added to the character, too

Dare I say Bowie was better than Jackman in the scenes they had together.

What about the chemistry between Bowie and Serkis ?

Definitely. You really believed they were long time colleagues.
