If 60 year old Michael Keaton played batman in a justice league movie I'd pay $20, even if it only cost 10.
So far, after Nolan's BATMAN trilogy, is it safe to say that most are in agreement that Affleck has filled in rather well as Batman/Bruce?
I think he's been brilliant in the role(s). Hope we get more of him.
I think he's been great, but sadly, I don't think we'll see him in a solo movie, so we'll probably never know what he was like with a full movie to himself.
Yeah, we're still getting a movie from him, but Affleck is getting more and more blunt about his involvement. I think it's pretty clear he wants out, or WB want's him out. Either way, I"m 95% sure he's done.Perhaps, but what is going on with the solo movie? Is Matt Reeves still involved?

The rumor is that Reeves wants Jake Gyllenahaal. So we'll see.
A Batman movie written by Nolan and directed by Aronofsky...A fantasy stylized Aronofsky film that uses the logic and storytelling traits of Nolan...pure gold, dammit!![]()
What you said. Let Nolan write them and mandate certain things then let others direct. Except let Patty Jenkins do what she wants.

I know most disagree with but please no. I've had to suffer through his Batman, can't I have a little more of the one I vastly prefer?
Patty Jenkins though, rousing yes. She seems to have a head for good films that the pinheads/critics will also connect with if Wonder Woman is a good example.
I am with you actually. I know probably in the minority. I never liked the Bale/Nolan version. That Batman seemed so wooden. He was like a secondary character in his own film. And Bale with that annoying hoarse voice he used. OMG.

Michael Keaton in "Batman" was the only good movie Batman. But even then they just relegated Batman to a side character in "Batman Returns", which was more just "Batman Shows Up Again"
Ah, seems like im not as alone as i thought on this.
Begins is the only one i can stomach, but the rest is not really that good imo.
Also, I absolutely hated the fight scenes. Nolan used that herky jerky motion in Begins & it got my nauseous. Hes Batman you want to actually see the fights.

Not necesarrily. Batman's supposed to be about confusing enemies, dropping in on them suddenly and attacking unseen. Batman Begins captured that beautifully, it was never meant to be much of an "action movie'" at all.

Captures it? I disagree. Everyone jumps to Nolan's defense when you criticize anything about his style. It was horrible for fight scenes in Batman Begins. If you cant see the artistry and fluidity of Batman's craft of martial arts....Whats the point of it all? You have to see it to appreciate it. I dont have to feel like I am in the fight. I would like to step back and acknowledge his martial arts skill was captured to see.
