Agent Carter Agent Carter General Discussion Thread - Part 1

That would be great but they would have to set the show sometime in the 60's to even include a Hank Pym that would be old enough to work with S.H.I.E.L.D.

Hayley did say she'd like to see the show set in other eras so maybe it could be a possibility for say season 3 if each season takes place in a new decade.

We will have to see why're you asking us? We all know just as much as you at this point from what was announced haha.

“Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.”

Angie better be joining her on this road trip. :o

glad this is still set in the 40s it really is wonderfully unique for television.

I am so incredibly excited this got renewed. I can't express it enough. I loves season 1.

I was thinking the 50's since they mentioned the atomic age .

She gets married and has kids. Do we really want to see Carter juggling taking the kids to school and fighting super powered badies?

Might be interesting for an episode or 2 but not for a whole season.

its probably late 40s/early 50s i mean.. the bomb was dropped in 1945.. the show what, took place in 46? so it's somewhere between 1946-1950 i'd imagine. you don't want to age her too much (she'd lose some sex appeal and warrant her to don make-up every episode)

Post war threats still being a big deal

Well it does say post-war. Still feels like it is close to the first season in terms of time. I like this, I just hope everyone else doesn't disappear. She mentioned Murray and Gjokaj on twitter, so I would think they would be back. No Angie would make me a sad panda, though considering the Agent Carter One Shot, she has to return to New York at some point.

I do like that we can now do away with the ridiculous rumor that this season would be about Sharon.

Losing the cast would suck, it could help the show, but also really hurt it

Why is everyone worried about Angie joining her? If Jarvis is not in LA the MCU will cry.

I need James D'Arcy in my life as Jarvis. I just can't fathom them not including him.

I can go either way with Angie. I'd miss Enver a lot, but not really Chad.

Think angie and peggy will go to la. Something happens (most probably involving stark) and the whole team is brought in.

It will be interesting to see who sticks around. I actually liked the cast of this, whereas I would have dumped every single character in AOS come the second season.

Hopefully we get some Golden Age characters during this season. Those guys are severely underused and would be awesome if we could see some of those guys pop up again.
