Can someone explain to me how the one bad guy at Roxxon was blinded by Peggy...then Peggy ended up having to escape in a waiting car and JUST BARELY avoided being killed in the blast...yet, somehow the blinded guy in the hallway managed to get out, even though he couldn't see and wasn't even aware that a bomb was about to go off?
It appears that he lived just because they wanted Peggy to catch him.
It's not a huge screw up. We don't know how long he was blinded for(clearly it was only temporary) and he just might have got out of dodge sooner than Peggy did. It's suspect certainly but still not in the realm of a clearly impossible contradiction to what had already been established.
Why did he get out of dodge? He was unaware that an explosive had been ignited. It's kind of absurd to suggest that he recovered from his blindness, rightly assumed that a bomb had been ignited, and then was able to get to safety faster than Peggy Carter in a full sprint and then speeding car.

I think he had an accent, but what was it? French? Whatever it was,it didn't sound Russian to me.
I felt the blatant sexism of the times got a little heavy handed.I mean, they had women in espionage back in those days, did they not? I doubt they would have taken someone with her war record and made her serve coffee rather than exploit her talents to get info by going undercover like she did at the club.
^ It sounded Pavel Chekov to me. I'm surprised people didn't hear it.
If it helps, they were acting closer to FBI agents so far and the police certainly wouldn't have wanted any women.
True. And they implied that her co-workers, or at least some of them, seemed to think that she only got her position during the war because she was sleeping with Captain America. Her boss had that obvious "you were his liaison" line, which obviously had a double-meaning.
Wonder where the one-shot falls in the time line now.
There was a quick shot of the one shot at the beginning
From what I recall, there was really only 1 real shot from the one-shot (that lasted maybe 1 second, if even that) and was just a shot of her kicking the guy through the window. I'm pretty certain the bulk of the one-shot (if not all of it) takes place after the series. Now, if that shot had instead been a shot of her picking up the Zodiac vial from the end of the one-shot, then I would agree that they were either disregarding most of the one-shot as canon (since it ended with Stark - in a position of power - starting to reformat the SSR into SHIELD), but I think with such a minor and insignificant/blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot being used I don't think it causes too much of an issue right now (just my opinion though). They showed clips of the One Shot as Peggy was thinking about old stuff, right? I mean...if the events are in her memory, then they have already happened.
Regarding the symbol drawn in the dirt (and considering the guy was dying), could it have maybe been the symbol for Capricorn? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zodiac#Table_of_dates (was looking to see what symbols would have a 'V' to it like the top of a heart does as well as a curved line through it, to me that seems the closest - just a thought though)
The scenarios are basically...
1. The One Shot happened, meaning that this entire series was poorly thought out and it should be taking place after that event.
2. The One Shot didn't happen yet. Which means that she can't remember it because she hasn't done it, therefore they made an idiotic continuity error.
3. The One Shot has been erased from existence completely. In that case, why does she remember it? Adding in clips of the fight scene from an event that has never and will never happen was incredibly foolish in a Cinematic universe where we have been trained to thing that everything is connected and "counts."
They didn't even have time to dance in the first Cap movie let alone time to score with each other unless the scoring happened off camera.
I didn't say that they actually did. I said that her co-workers seem to think that they did. Her boss's condescending comment about her being Cap's "liaison" made that very obvious.
