Eek, just noticed a guard standing next to a Canadian flag is shot by a terrorist. Not the best timing!

I'm Canadian myself and while that is tragic, I have to ask you, why should you care if somebody dies in front of our flag in a television show? If fiction is meant to be representative of real life through intention and coincidence, why should we restrict it?

I'm from Moncton (we had our own tragedy this Summer). It's just the first thing that popped into my head when they said "Terrorists attack the UN", all of a sudden a guard gets shot and I noticed the Flag right away. It really stood out to me. I'm guessing others probably won't make the connection though.

I actually think he'll becomes an ally after this. He may not like Coulson, but he'll probably be the only person on the other side who knows that attacking the UN is not Coulson's style.

Perhaps Talbot will have a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing with Coulson/SHIELD. They may not see eye-to-eye, but they both know that Hydra needs to be stopped.
