Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Show In The Works

AOS - add Maria Hill as director, team of May (also fills Hill's old role she had with Fury), Bobbi, Hunter and Mack, along with a few new faces, show focused around rebuilding SHIELD.

Spinoff - Coulson, Skye, Fitz, Simmons, Lincoln. Team focused on finding new gifted people (inhumans) being hunted and help them find their way.

I hope this isn't another SHIELD show. Any storyline involving SHIELD should be in AOS. The spinoff should be about the Inhumans..

I really, REALLY don't want another SHIELD show. We already have Agent Carter, which is building up to an origin story for SHIELD in the past. Do we really want three SHIELD TV series on ABC?

Inhumans or something completely original, but no more agents.

Edit: If they did a show on this batch of Inhumans, I wonder if it could be called "Afterlife"...

Really excited about this. Inhumans would be awesome, would also like a split where Coulson and Gonzales both have teams with Coulson and his team of supers (Skye, Deathlok, a couple of others) going the more fantastical route and Gonzales team taking on other organizations like Hydra and Aim. Whatever it is just make it happen.

Hopefully the team up ends with Ward & Deathlok doing Coulson a solid & just kills all of nuSHIELD. Starting with baldy & save Gonzales for last. If Ward & Deathlok kills Crapping Bird & Crack & Simmons somewhere in the middle. That would be even better

I'd love for them to do an Inhumans show based on the AOS Inhuman characters. But they'd need to do something different with it, the Inhumans as characters don't really have a day to day thing going on like the agents do.

So writers would need to work that one out, but it has a lot of potential.

The only problem I have with the "Inhumans spinoff" theory is that the logical person to lead the show would be Skye. I am dubious whether the writers would be willing to write one of their central characters out of Agents of SHIELD.

I was thinking Jiaying and Gordon, to be honest. Don't know if they can sustain a show, though.

I agree, Sky at the main character feels like the only way it could work. But Marvel could be copying DC, like how they introduced the Flash in Arrow and then gave him his own tv show. It wouldn't be totally unheard of for them to give Sky her own show with the Inhumans.

I don't see it working without her, especially since she and hottie-inhuman seem to be joined at the hip now and he's already stated how integral he is to the Inhumans camp for newbies.

There are a lot of good ideas here. Personally, I would like to see Deathlok developed more into the cyborg from the comics, and perhaps with a separate show where the budget is primarily focused on that character they could afford to do the CGI necessary for his character.

Also, keep in mind while it has been confirmed the new show will be a spin off of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. it is not known if what the spin off is based on has been introduced into the show yet. It may be something still up and coming.

Surfer

Yep. Coulson seems to be gathering gifted. What are they going to do?

One person does not make a gathering .Skye wouldn't count as she was on the team anyway .So we are only talking about Deathlock

Avengers Academy?

Could have a nominal SHIELD Agent in charge ala Coulson in Ultimate Spiderman and use that as a guide to hijinx with training Gifted in the 21st century MCU without Xavier's help!

Based at St Agnes's Orphanage ?

I don't find Deathlok that interesting. At least not this version. While I think the actor does a decent job, I just haven't grown attached to the character and his look is fairly underwhelming to me.

Had another idea. What about Nick Fury? How he joined Shield and came to be the boss? Much younger actor to play the part.

Then again is that too many agent shows? Maybe Coulsons Nuhumans. Not linked to the Inhumans but the ones he is recruiting.

They said they are not going back in time again for this one.

Inhumans. Since SHIELD isn't factoring into the MCU they realize they've got to transition the show to The Inhumans, so they'll spinoff into that and bring SHIELD to a close.

Cheers. Must have missed that. They talk about over saturation. But there is so much they could cover. Maybe do an animated film about some of them. MCU Origins or something. If they are determined to no longer do Origin films.

The Captain America Civil war movie is released in may 2016, shield might be split till then at least, would a new series not be leading into that, same as civil war in the comics, two TV series feeding into an arch with stories from different points of view. A civil war with good guys and bad guys is a run of the mill conflict.

Lady Sif & The Warriors Three.

I want to see that so bad. It could be Marvels Game of Thrones.

Thunderbolts

And Ruth Negga is off the show at the end of the season as she is one of the leads in Preacher

Yea I was thinking Thunderbolts type variation. Ruth can be replaced easy with another actress and the same make up, but I'm really not that keen on her character in that kind of spin off team. Agent 33 got that shapshifting mask thing for a reason. She'll be part of the team as Wards shadow. They'll be using her for covert missions.
Maybe a show starring Gordon, Lincoln, Jiaying, and the other Inhumans the show has introduced?
Yep, now Ruth's character would be better fit in a Inhumans only show. Gordon and Lincoln could be finding potential Inhumans, main protagonist could be Kree agents, the occasional government and "real" Shield agents. With all the potential Kree alien activity in a show like this, a SWORD spin off could be born from that. Edit: and Kamala Kahn could be in the first episode. :)

I saw somebody elsewhere suggest that it could be a version of Avengers Academy

Somebody made mention of a Mocking bird Hawkeye show. Even thought that would be cool I doubt they would get Jermeny to show up very often.

That being said I think Avengers Academy is likely simply because what they were talking about in this latest episode.
