Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents of SHIELD - S02E16 - "AfterLife"

Nope, it may be an unpopular opinion but I really don't like Coulson. I think real SHIELD is mostly right about him, they're just a little paranoid.

No more so than Bolivar Trask.

Gonzalez of course. What SHIELD are you talking about headed by Buddy? Is there something I missed?

Sorry, there was an old argument with another old poster who kept insisting that the REAL Clairevoyant was Thomas Nash (who I think MAY be Thomas Ward) but anyway, it ticked people off and people made fun of him that Buddy the Dog was the Clairvoyant.

Edit: It's just the whole "Is Gonzales Hydra?" argument reminded me of that old argument.

You know what, at first I thought Fitz palmed the cube, but they scanned him before he left, then Simmons handed him the bag, so I think Fitz realized Simmons was scanning the cube to make a false copy, at which point she told him he had to leave, then she placed the real cube in the bag with his sandwich, and handed it to him after he was scanned. Still slight of hand, but a little more complicated.

Poor Bobby though, that's twice Simmons has completely schooled her.

Makes you think, don't it? The trained master elite spy getting absolutely schooled by a mere scientist.

What a fantastic episode! This show continues to deliver the goods, furthering the plot, layering the characters, expanding the MCU, and offering awesome surprises. That Deathlok appearance was super cool, love the new look!

The whole Inhuman plot is quite intriguing. They are managing to establish a whole mythology around these people that is making the entire MCU so much richer. Can't wait until next week!.

I guess that's why they let FitzSimmons do the thinking, while they did the field work.

Great Episode and Deathlok looked a lot better. He still needs to look a little more cyborgish.

I think the only think Deathlok needs is the face plate exposed. He would look seriously great with that one last tweak.

Are we ever going to see Cal "Hyde out" because you'd think he'd done it by now.

Hopefully Deathlok hangs around a while, Coulson could use his talents on a full time basis.

So Dr. List is a connection to AoU? Tracking down powered people and experimenting on them, presumably for Strucker.

I'm thinking one final "experiment" is needed to get him there. It's the only explanation I can think of why he hasn't Hyded Out yet.

Wow 154 peeps in here tonight!!! HIYA folks! :more:

The episode he appears in airs a week after AoU's world premiere and a day before it releases overseas. So, yes, definitely.

I like Phil to but dude has made some boneheaded decisions that shouldn't be made for a guy in charge of SHIELD.
Yeah yeah, that's why I think maybe he should give in just alittle yet stay in charge, know what I mean?

That episode was fantastic. There have been some good episodes, last weeks was one of the best, but this might be my first 10 out of 10 episode. The "backup" was just awesome, I actually stood up out of my chair and said yeah with a little fist pump.

Where is he by the way? He and Chewy have been MIA for awhile now

After the 2nd season started and it was a given that the "Clairvoyant" issue was over,he never returned. I'm guessing 'cause he was the face of the conspiracy theorists that had pegged The Clairvoyant mystery as an ongoing issue.

Xeno000somethingorother hasn't shown up much since the 1st season either. She was the face of the Skye haters who couldn't shut up about her all year.

Thankfully, both factions seemed to have moved on.:woot:

Uh, what? You think Thomas Nash and Thomas Ward are one and the same based solely on the name? They don't even have the same age (T. Ward is a few years younger than Grant)! I'm confused here!

What it really tells me is that the showrunners seem to be loving the name Thomas a little too much: besides Nash and Ward, we also have Calderon named with a variation of it, Tomás. Not that it surprises me, I recall at least 4 characters named William in Joss Whedon's Buffyverse, including fan favorites Spike and Angel (Liam is the Irish form of William).
