Just wondering Mods, is there a point in opening a thread here for those of us who have seen it about discussing what The Winter Soldier might mean for AoS or is that something we should do in the Captain America area of the site?

So apparently Chloe Bennett let it slip that the blue alien was [blackout]Kree[/blackout]. Did I miss this in all the recent spoiler tag extravaganza?

Great news about Amy Acker. :hrt: She has been phenomenal on Person of Interest.

Yeah I think opening another thread with that sole purpose would be a good idea given this thread has become pages and pages of spoilers tags.

Might the Cellist be an obscure comics character? I say this because if Acker was playing just a regular human, why would someone with powers be after her? And why is this person with powers from her past?

Great casting.... Hope this doesn't have repercussions with her role on Person of Interest.

I'm sure it won't. She is a series regular on POI. A guest spot on AOS won't hurt much.

No that's new info. But until I see the interview, I'm going to assume she was just speculating.

Just speculation, assuming that this is the article in question. Relevant section below, with interesting bits bolded.

So what the heck was that alien? Theories have run wild online, with Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) even rattling off a list of various species that could be the culprit in the most recent episode. "I try to figure it out," Bennet said during Sunday's PaleyFest panel, explaining that she continuously scours the Internet for answers. She guesses that the Kree might have something to do with it.

However, the writers played coy when TVGuide.com pressed for more answers on the red carpet. "There are a lot of theories, and with Guardians of the Galaxy coming out, people are steering one way because everything is connected in the Marvel Universe," executive producer Maurissa Tancharoen tells us. The film will feature both the Kree race, with Lee Pace playing Ronan the Accuser in the film, and the Centaurians, with Michael Rooker playing the blue-skinned Yondu of the Zatoan tribe. "We've heard a lot of theories and some of them are correct," executive producer Jed Whedon added.

Fortunately, we bribed tricked convinced executive producer Jeff Bell to debunk one theory. "It's not a Frost Giant," he revealed. "We had to talk with the Marvel Studio because they've got aliens coming up in some of their movies, so we had to make sure that we fit within that, and we wanted to do it in a limited way. We're not saying there are these people running around on the planet. There's this thing that could've been there for thousands of years that they found."

the cellist's name is audrey... any characters of that name in the comics..
i could find only one who has a connection to daredevil

obsessed ex-boyfriend. think about people like Living Laser and/or Whirlwind. they both were stalkerish with regular humans.

As long as they don't say "take your best shot, little girl" it shouldn't go too badly for them.

I take it back... apparently she actually *did* claim to know that the body was a Kree, as you can hear in the video posted with this article.

“I know that the alien was a Kree…and I know that I was injected with serum made from that and that I am cured and, to normal humans like Coulson, he almost died, but for me, for some reason, nothing happened.”
She's even reportedly been asking around in comic book shops for issues about the Kree.

I still have to wonder... is that like a know know, or like an "I think I know".

3D Man's actually pretty cool, though they should use the black one if they ever did use him.

Brubaker did a cool update for the Matador I wouldn't mind seeing live action.

Didn't sound at all like she was speculating. In fact, after she said it was Kree, she added something to the effect of, "like we all knew."

We need a villain that can transform himself into ice cream. I DEMAND it.

There are no bad characters, just bad writers.....except that Ice Cream guy. I'd just give him the ability to turn into some random goo....but then he was created for laughs, so.....

what list? I don't see one at that link.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, there is a 1-11 bar. However, here's the list.

1. U.S.1
2. NFL Superpro
3. The Kangaroo
4. Turner D. Century
5. 3D Man (Charles Chandler)
6. The Masked Matador
7. Overdrive
8. Typeface
9. The Scarecrow (Marvel Version)
10. Eye Scream

They look awful

.... I'm surprised the Grizzly's not up on that list unless he's under Sony for Spidey and let's not forget Razorback ;)

of course, Marvel could always bring one of those characters in as a persona of this guy:

Ben-Kingsley-in-All-Hail-the-King1.jpg

Assuming of course he's out of the clutches of the Ten Rings by then.
