He said he killed them because they dug too deep. Triplett probably didn't dig deep enough to warrant a killing, probably because he was always with Garrett who kept him away from seeing too much.

Remember they had mixed Hydra and non Hydra guys on squad's as the security team that showed up was only mostly Hydra when they killed the few guys that weren't.

I agree completely. Not anti-Triplett, just very cautious of him since he's the only other guy from Garrett's team still above ground. But I gotta admit, if Garrett is controlling Deathlok (and not someone else at Hydra), that puts Triplett firmly in the good guy camp based off of the attack on the SHIELD safe-house (Ep16) against Garrett and Triplett.

I'm actually wondering on how long Coulson and his team will be able to operate because I would imagine that their funds will be limited, now that SHIELD as a whole is gone and that the only things they really have left to use are whatever is left from their bases that weren't compromised or destroyed.

Less "Bus" and maybe more "Short-Bus" travel, right??? Jet fuel ain't free. :awesome:

Heck, they could start up a new agency to replace SHIELD. They could call it SWORD and have Abigail Brand be the director and Carol Danvers and Daisy Johnson as an operative.

Perhaps; heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Whedon even mentions about Coulson's (and others) efforts to revitalize SHIELD (in some fashion) in a passing conversation within "Age of Ultron" given his close ties with this show.

As long as they don't cheapen the results of what the ending of "TWS" established, then I'll be okay with it personally.

Honestly, SHIELD now having been revealed to have been basically led by Hydra from the shadows this whole time actually makes sense of a lot of things.... for me at least.

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if Hydra, under the guise of SHIELD, purposefully chose not to get involved in any way with the events of "Iron Man 3", let alone with helping Stark...hoping that AIM would cross him off their list for them without them having to put any effort into it.

And it also explains for me on why someone like Steve Rogers wasn't given a higher ranking within the organization, let alone on why he probably wasn't sent out on some of the missions that we've seen on this series. My guess is that the higher ups made sure that Rogers wouldn't be given a mission where his involvement would cause trouble for them. And this could really apply to any real good agent that Hydra knew wouldn't be on their side but would still be an asset if used properly for their needs.

Someone mentioned somewhere that SHIELD has the chance to be rebuilt into what it should have been from the start. A very small staffed spy organization that nobody knows about. Turning into the worldwide public conglomerate that it was was exactly what let Hydra in and let it do what it wanted.

Random question: Hand I think, said something about Agent Blake. What was it? I can't remember when it was said but I'm curious because I flagged it up at the time...

Nah, I honestly think it all started when they hired Zola. :)

She said he had reported to her with suspicions that Coulson might be Hydra, this proving he's alright. (he also likes the Zodiac...)

She said Blake had reported to her with suspicions that higher ranks might be in a conspiracy. Hand with this information, what happen to Blake and etc She thought Coulson was one of them.

Ah yes, that's the one!! I liked how they picked his watcher role back up from Item 47. So glad Blake is good too, I really enjoy his wit

Maybe Peggy was asked but refused?

Also, the Kree body in T.A.H.I.T.I was like Peter MacNicol's Asgardian in The Well, which was supposed to connect to Thor: TDW but did not.

i agree.. peggy being peggy would have refused it since she wanted a normal life now that steve was gone.. but i think someone like dumdum dugan would have taken a dose of the serum

But then they could use it on anyone and everyone. If Spider-Man ends up somehow in the MCU, then they could use it on Aunt May. It will reverse her aging and relieve her ailing health.

no, bring uncle ben back to kick some sense into peter

Unemployment. Jobs in civilian enterprises. Jobs with other Intelligence Agencies. Private Military Contractors. Mercenaries. Any facilities as dark as TAHITI wouldn't even know SHIELD's gone.

Don't forget dead, there will be Shield Hydra battles going throughout the world, and the Hydra guys will have the jump on them. Hand already said that Hydra has taken over two of their bases.

So Blake is okay and recovering? I wonder if there's any chance he could join Coulson's team or even the cast of AOS next season. The show needs someone with an acerbic wit who will cause a bit of conflict while still being a good guy.

Definitely. He's had very little screentime but he's already become a firm favourite of mine

if he can still talk/walk.. it wasnt clear where deathlok foot landed

I would like for Jenny Agutter to guest star in this show.

Maybe the big guest star Chloe spoke about is RDJ, and Tony will now step in to fund Coulson's team/The Bus?

Well Cobie is confirmed as returning soon, so there's potential for Stark Industries to provide some sort of financing. After all, [blackout]HYDRA killed Howard[/blackout]

made an Arnim/Deathlok wallpaper
