daredevil will have his costume... just needs some one with eyesight to make it for him ;)

Technically he has such amazing touch that I could believe he could feel his way into making it. Plus it be a funny way to justify his original black and yellow costume.

I concede the point.
I'd just like them to do so with some of the more eccentric villains.
Bullseye for example, I can see him being enough of a nut to warrant dressing in his incredulous attire.

I also like when they at least pay homage to the design, like they seem to have done nicely with Batroc.

I can largely agree with this. And we already had a taste of it with the atrocious Scorch (Oh, crap. They gave him a name.) Not too much of a stretch to think that if some guys are crazy enough to want a special name they might want a costume too. Also considering the celebrity status people like the Avengers would have attained... well we already have people dressing up in cosplay as well as real-life supers in our world. There would absolutely be people who would emulate that in MCU Earth.

But only a tiny fraction of thsoe would have actual powers and such so I think you need to be a little stingy with it. Some guys work just fine in street clothes, or homage-style outfits like Batroc as you suggested.

I just think there should be a bit of a costume renaissance from the street level heroes and villains. All a sudden they fully grasp that they share a world with gods, monsters, legends and mecha heroes.

I see them wanting to emulate that and be grandiose in appearance because most times they can't ever be as impressive with their powers.

I direct you to one of my favorite old time posts from the Hype.

Bottom line, if Daredevil doesn't get his costume I'm going to complete lose my ****. :woot:

There is no way DD won't have the costume.

I wonder if the show will touch on Coulson's reaction to:

Sitwell's betrayal and death.

Episode 18 synopsis :
"Providence" - With Colonel Glenn Talbot now on their trail, Coulson and his team seek refuge in the last place anyone would look, where they begin to uncover S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most dangerous secrets--secrets that could destroy them all, on "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Guest-stars:
Bill Paxton as Agent John Garrett, David Conrad as Ian Quinn, Adrian Pasdar as US Air Force Colonel Glenn Talbot, Ruth Negga as Raina, B.J. Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, Patton Oswalt as Agent Eric Koenig, Patrick Brennan as Marcus Daniels, Rich Paul as Agent #1, Bayardo De Murguia as Agent #2, Kylie Furneaux as Agent, Jeffrey Muller as Agent, Pia Shah as female scientist, Alex Goode as hacker, Alysha Del Valle as ABC reporter, Ramon Hilario as barber and Patrick Quinlan as guard.

Oh Yes Raina and Quinn are back :hubba

well Once Upon a Time in Wonderland was cancelled, I hope this show does better in ratings, because I don't want the same fate happening to Agents of Shield.

Once Upon a Time looked cheesy as hell, but Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has Marvel backing it. Plus, The Winter Solider is coming out in no time, once people see that, they'll want to start watching the series (if they haven't already). I can't wait for Tuesday's episode, Deathlok looks fantastic and having Bill Paxton aboard is a major plus IMO. And they're adding in Patton Oswald?! Sold, though I'm surprised DC didn't pick him up first after making that outstanding Batman/Penguin video (which is infinitely better than that Arrow series IMO, I don't know how people can watch that show, the episodes I watched were terribly cheesy and make Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. look like Citizen Kane in comparison, at least S.H.I.E.L.D. actually connects to Marvel's branching universe unlike DC's fractured universe).

I have a sneaking suspicion that edison po is alive as well
We know centipede had the ICER formula during episode 10
So they could have faked his death in order to get Coulson to talk/ trust Raina
The tuff on the side of his face was blue

Hmmm

So the US Government is after the Agents following the event sof TWS?

Well the agency that they're apart of was infiltrated and thoroughly corrupted by a terrorist group practically since it's founding, SEVENTY YEARS AGO!! One of the highest-ranking members of said organization took a bunch of government officials hostage, killed a bunch of people, and tried to slaughter 20 MILLION more people. Oh and practically the entire world thinks that Nick Fury is dead. So I can see why the government might want to bring this team in, for questioning at least. Heck they hauled Black Widow in front of Congress, and she's an Avenger who helped save the world from an alien invasion not too long ago.

Well I'm not so harsh with the comparison between AOS/Arrow.
After The winter soldier I've watched with more attention the fights of AOS and I've noticed something: the fights in are all directed in close up. This technique is used when the choreograph are not so good. At leas are really bad in many cases. Arrow have amazing direction end choreograph in the fight scenes.
And this is twice annoying in the case of Deathlock, J. August Richards had a very nice fight with Amell, sign that he CAN do fights.

Another point is the Photography and the light management: often are truly "basical", always dark and melty, just like the '90 shows. I hate that.

the recipe for progress are easy: more budget for the workers and better directors. Now with the story are on the green line. Cut the paring and the sentimental side, sometimes seems that everybody try to f**k on that plane, two-way lines... I hate the fangirls and sometimes I think that they're feeding too mutch. That's SHIELD stories, spy vs spy, save the world, manage crisis, stop evil guys... the sentimental part is the 4th or 5th thing to think about.

Imho.

Is English your first language, because I had sort of a tough time understanding what you said.

the same synopsis was posted earlier and discussed.. most agree that
hand is not the one, but most likely following orders

[BLACKOUT]Winter Soldier spoilers below![/BLACKOUT]

Either that, or Hand is just a key figure in the HYDRA-controlled SHIELD seen in Cap: The Winter Soldier.

He describes it as a costume "They made me this incredible coat, it was a trenchcoat with a collar sticking up, that as soon as I put it on I felt like a villain. The costume was great."

But then I look at the promo picture, notice that he seems to be wearing a coat with a popped up collar and that seems to be pretty much it.

Can't say I could wrap my head around how they would adapt his comic costume anyway since they are so embarrassed of their comic roots when it comes to spandex.

I think the key would be to find a middle ground, not every costume is translatable to the screen, but just putting a tench coat on a guy is a lazy route to go a lot of the time.

With that costume, the best case scenario for a "middle ground" would be a black shirt with a faded yellow lighting bolt on it. It's like a worse looking version of Electro's classic costume, which already sucks IMO.

Also, it doesn't really match his powers. I'd rather them reinvent his look.

^ i agree.. no need to force a costume on someone,
wonder how his powers will be explained? experiments or born with it?

yeah, i seen TWS yesterday and i was like WTF !!

That's why it worked so brilliantly. He appeared so non-descript and "normal" in his previous appearances that NO ONE even remotely suspected THAT GUY of being evil. I got to give Sitwell props, the guy was a fantastic actor.
