Hey guys I've been browsing the site for a week or so cos I was so pumped for TWS.

Well having come back from it in the last hour I thought I could chime in on some of the discussion here.

First off I am 99.999% sure Cap is/was a level 8 agent. When he and Fury get in the elevator, it shows up Fury Level 10 then Cap level 8 access denied.
Then Pierce later says '2 level 6s', like someone said above I think he meant level 6 threat like Fury described Loki as a level 7. I also think this cos why would Pierce tell TWS what Shield level they were, how would that help his mission? Whereas as him saying there threat level makes much more sense.

As for the Clairvoyant, I believe it could literally be any Hydra agent who is using the Zola algorithm. I don't think it's Zola himself just someone presumably previously high up in Shield/Hydra using his prediction algorithm which means Hand or from the promo pics Garrett are my picks

Anyway that was just some of my 2 cents. Feel free to disagree especially on the clairvoyant bit, i'm fairly sure on the Cap [BLACKOUT]level 8[/BLACKOUT] bit

Actually, when you think about it - wouldn't all those tech people working on Insight have to have a high clearance level too? It probably isn't something that's too important, probably just to show what information they are and aren't allowed to be aware of - Steve had no need to know about Insight or Coulson (he was doubting S.H.I.E.L.D.'s methods already) so he didn't need to be above Level 6.

Exactly. Field agents and grunts in general would not need to know about every side project around, especially the High clearence ones. Heck, you really don't want them to because those are also the same ones who due to their missions could be captured and interrogated. They only really need to know what they need to know to get their present job/mission done.

I'm assuming the Level 8 is what is required to see [BLACKOUT]Project Insight[/BLACKOUT], and he doesn't have that access.

That makes no sense.

When the elevator identifies Fury it shows 10 and then when Cap gets on it shows 8. Cap didn't have access because Fury didn't want him to until that point.

I don't see what the confusion about the levels is. You could have a clearance level and still be individually restricted for a specific file, even if that file is cleared for your level. Coulson experienced this himself while trying to investigate what happened to him.

My view/my internal headcanon on the "Level" issue (so just my opinion that I'm going with until/unless the show or the films tell me otherwise) is nothing more complicated than simply saying: Time has passed.

At some point, between the events of the pilot of AoS and the events of TWS, Cap's SHIELD Level was simply increased from Level 6 to Level 8 (at least several months have passed, if not possibly more between the two. Thor:TDW is said to be about 1 year after events of Avengers, CA:TWS is supposed to be around 2 years after Avengers)

Exactly this. The AoS pilot and TWS are a long time apart.

Finally caught up with the last 3 Episodes. Getting better. Not a fan of Deathlok so far. For someone that acts like a Terminator, he doesn't seem too capable. Not in love with the armor either. And finally the Tranq guns don't look like cheap plastic toys anymore.

As I had suspected, she was reporting to Fury. They will eventually find out about Fury, Hill, Romanoff and Rogers. But will they know that Fury is in hiding in Europe or will they think he's dead?

And where does Patton Oswalt's character fit in this?

If this show actually had the balls to make either Skye or Ward a traitor, then I'd be really impressed. But I'm not holding my breath on that one. I think that it will be either Garrett, Triplett, or both as well. It's the obvious route to go, but that the route that I think they'll take.
