Ugh, I don't even want a DCEU anymore. The internet will never let me enjoy it. I hope WB scraps the whole thing. The haters win. It's honestly not worth the stress or time. It was doomed from day one.

Just let me have my comics and animated movies and TV shows past and present, and the awesome live action films we've already gotten in the past, and I'm happy.

These characters are so beyond theatrical films, it doesn't matter. They'll always be around.

Why not just enjoy the movies yourself and stay away from the ********?

Can someone explain where the 7/10 GA rating is coming from?

Cause if it's RT's or IMDB that's not the general audience. Is that rating from a cinemascore type organization or something?

I took from the movie that the battle of metropolis was the turning point of the[blackout] no kill policy for batman. [/blackout] When he has the child and looks up his face changes and he changes inside.

Doesn't Alfred kinda sum it up with his "turns good men cruel" speech?
The "powerlessness" part is key. Batman is no longer fighting just for a single individual or even the fate of a city but for all mankind. The stakes have been raised to the nth degree. And in his mind he's the only thing standing between us and the abyss.

Yeah, the things about that is that the branding was the "new rules" part Alfred asked him about.
It certainly was a post battle of Metropolis change, which I kinda liked.
The other thing about it was that, at that point in the film, [blackout]we had not seen him kill anyone. [/blackout]

In fact, with the exception of the Knightmare sequence, we don't see him [blackout]undeniably kill anyone[/blackout] until AFTER he "resolves" things with Superman.

Obviously there's no way the majority of those guys survived the car chase scene, but one could suspend disbelief I guess.

Yeah, the only way someone can ruin a movie for you is if they start blurting out spoilers. Someone else not liking a movie I love means diddly to me.

there, i call it...
darkseid is gonna kill lex

I hope the process for Darkseid's casting is better than Lex's. I don't want to hear in 18 months that Miles Teller came in to read for Ron Troupe but then Zack thought no we're going to kill Ron so let's cast him as Darkseid even though Javier Bardem would be perfect.

Now give me a Grant Morrison penned sequel and watch the world go crazy :woot:

There's just SO MUCH of it. Goddamn.

You're in the wrong sites. The Hype is actually the most negative of the sites I've been following. Everywhere else is heaping praise upon praise, many of which crown BvS as the best comic book movie to date. Even the critics have to admit that in spite of their hate for this movie, they're still excited for the upcoming DCEU movies, so whatever Snyder did, it worked.

Listen...I know their is hate for the movie. Are their things I disliked and was not happy with...Yes. But, being a fan of the DC Universe since the 70's. Their are always things I hated when they did it in the comics....Superman Red/Blue, making Hal Jordan evil, etc. But, things get reconned and sometimes return to normal.

Bottom line is I and my son enjoyed the movie. I can nitpik and hate things they do. But, overall it was great seeing the Trinity on the big screen. As comic fans are superpower is being nitpicky. So I will hope that the movie does well and we get more DC universe movies.

hmmm the whole football game was cut out...will those be the most part of the extended version????

wtf moment numbr ..cant remember...
ho do bullets accuse superman? ...if the ywould have burned the place down then they could have people say like...it was his laser eyes...but no....

I've said time and time again that Morrison should be the consultant on these films. He gets it.

Snyder needs to GO asap.

Snyder and Terrio. **** them both. They're as bad as Schumacher and Goldsman. Same level of bad.

i want them both gone. To think that they are coming back for JL :( noooooooo

There will be a lot of negativity towards JL. Negativity that will damn the film if they don't change the creative team right now

The answer is so simple. George Miller. He would be an easy transition. He is already producing and he already almost directed a JL film.

George Miller. With Paul Dini and Bruce Timm writing

Ok kiddies, I have a question, please give this poor fool who did not see the movie the short straight answer, and nothing more.
So Superman kicked the heavily batmobile, then opened its roof like anyone of us opens a tuna can.
How did Batmans armor help him beat Superman? Or even hold his punch?

I hope so. Point me in some good directions.

Regarding the Hype though... [BLACKOUT]this has always been a Pro-InsertYouKnowWhatHere site from the beginning.[/BLACKOUT]

[BLACKOUT]Batman's got the area booby-trapped early on, and Superman is pretty much weaker from Kryptonite. It's a pretty one-sided fight. Bats' prep time is pretty extensive.[/BLACKOUT]

Miller is 70. I doubt he wants this heavy burden.
