Sorry for probably being behind on this, but it's the second most expensive production ever? That's confirmed? Wow.
It was a factoid thrown out by apparent sponsor, Turkish Airlines.

I'd say it's 350m with marketing. Besides, it'll make most of its money back from advertising partnerships.

:hmm

I wonder if Sears will make an appearance in BvS

Since we're on this discussion I came across an article from Cinema Blend quoting Latino Review that confirm a 400m+budget.
According to Latino-Review, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's budget has risen to $410 million. Currently, 2011's Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is the record holder for most expensive movie, with total production costs adding up to $410.6 million.

If that were the case, it wouldn't be the 2nd most expensive production ever. MoS cost $225m without P&A costs. This production is not only bigger (with bigger stars), but clearly features a lot more sets and less on-location shooting than that one did. I believe that number. That said, it'll make its budget back regardless.

If it's true then it makes me wonder how much Warner Bros is willing to spend on the Justice League.

Plus with a budget that high, WB are playing big, putting all their chips on the table, they highly think that BvS is gonna strike gold and become one of the highest if not the highest grossing film of the year, definitely past a billion in box office predictions, we'll see tho for now.

They're still making changes, cool. I remember that SW: TFA was finished by J.J. Abrams only 6 days before the premiere.

There was a film incentive which basically made it cheaper to film in Michigan.

Another stupid complaint people made a big stink about. Product placement etc. Go walk around outside in real life and it's the same ****.

The complaints really pissed me off as well man.

Gotcha, thanks
That's quite a price tag.

If you didn't mind it that's fine but to call the complaint silly is a bit narrow-minded.

I thought having Sears was cool. A real world environment seems like a good thing to me

Amen to that, god forbid we see Ma Kent munching at a Burger King in the film, fanboys would lose their collective sh**

it won't be popular here, but sears took me out of the moment a bit when it showed up. sorry guys, if you hate me for it
find a hobby you are wasting your life ;)

Sears didn't bother me. The only product placement that bugged me in MoS was the Nikon shot.

crazy thing, people in life have different outlooks and opinions. wild aye? :o

Oh look who it is, mr egg. One of my least favorite posters in his short time here haha.
