That colored Jim Lee cover is the best argument for DC and WB to make the MOS/BVS design for the costume, the standard the universal design across media. Lock that down in the merch, toons and especially the comics. That is so much better than what they have done lately.

100% agree with you there, when i see that artwork i see nothing else but the definitive looking Batman and Superman brawling, this needs to happen like in that whole DC Rebirth project they've got going on this year.

That's awesome.

These are amazing:hmr:

It was initially reported that the time passed between MoS and BvS was 2 years, but more recently it has been reported as 8 months. I would imagine it was somewhat fluid early on but they narrowed in down according to some master plan flow chart with all the films and story arcs the DCFU is orchestrating.

That drawing of Batman, Joker and Harley in Mad Max is very good. The Robin suit is a nice touch too.

I haven't yet watched Collider Heroes about the Darkseid reveal from the Empire photo (for me unfortunately that will have to wait for tonight), but I'm already anticipating Campea whining that it "reveals too much" and that fans should only be shown content about "Batman v Superman."

Hopefully, I'm wrong. :yay:

Okay, I had to watch it now, managed to squeeze it in. Glad I was wrong! (Good man, John!) I was all set up to post this (a general sentiment about the complaint itself) :woot: :cwink:

My first and only fancast ever: Hugh Keays-Byrne (Toecutter, Immortan Joe) for Darkseid. Thoughts?

I'm glad, I like the dude and I know he is a staunch BvS and MoS supporter. It's just that recent refrain from him had been annoying to me.

I dont think we should allow others opinions to bother us so much. its great when we have the same views and agreements but disagreement will come. i like to watch videos of people i know i disagree with because i learn more from them and sometime i can use their own words against them. i remember earlier in the thread when people started bashing angry joe cause he had not so positive views about the movie. i think the guys at collider are cool eve thought i dont always agree with them. to me theres no reason to get mad. let the movie itself shut them up

Tell you one complaint about the DCEU that is bugging the hell out of me, what can Batman so in the Justice League? All I have to ask is have the people that are saying this never read a Justice League story?

Batman has worked with super powered heroes and villains for decades and only now that it's happening in a movie do people ask this question? Batman is a strategist, no he's not there to lunch Darkseid or Mongul but you can damn sure bet he'll come up with a plan to defeat them or at the very least a plan to help deal with them.

Anyway rant over but I was listening to the BOF podcast and it kept getting mentioned over and over.

For some reason I can't get Tom Hardy for Darkseid out of my head, that would be cool

Having him play 2 big guys in the DC Multiverse would be alley tbh

Not a doubt in my mind that he could pull it off, he sure as hell could.

Another one I could see, and they could use FX to make him tall enough.

My only thing is I ask when they do Darskeid, I hope he's like 6 foot 4-8 and nit the 20ft giant he was on Justice League War.
