My claims are 100% supported because your initial argument doesn't make sense. it doesn't matter if DC has 100 female-led movies if they are bad ones and they damage the genre instead of helping it.
Catwoman and Supergirl are live ammo to the argument that comic book movies with female-led characters don't sell. That is actually a point Ike made in his Sony e-mails citing those films. It's completely misguided argument but the fact is that the first two DC female led movies actually did damage instead of helping representation.
And i was clearly talking about Marvel Studios so leave Fox out of this. Soon the Fox characters will be MCU as well.
Your argument that DC had female cbms first holds no water. It actually embarrasses them more since they have been making cbms WAY BEFORE Marvel and despite the fact they did it first they didn't get it right until last year. And even then MCU outnumbers them in good female characters, a point you conveniently omit.
Right now Marvel was WAY MORE good female characters for young girls to relate to because those CHARACTERS ARE LIVE-ACTION and have gotten 10x more exposure than animated or comics characters. Shuri is more popular than 90% of DC female heroes and even you will have difficulty denying that.
