Daamn....SW7, Avengers 2, and MOS2! I can't wait!

I am a bit worried that Goyer is writing Batman without a Nolan.

Might finally get a batman worth my excitement.
Hoping for Rorschach lite with and without the lame batvoice.

Goyer will probably write Batman like he was in TDK trilogy and I don't want that :csad: I want a Batman who kicks ass, uses his intelligence and who's very acrobatic like in the comics not what he was in TDK trilogy (Please don't hurt me NOlanites, just my opinion) :cwink:

Yeah I want a more comic version of Batman, something more akin to Under the Red Hood

I'd blame Nolan more for the action or lack thereof in the film, than Goyer (and we DO have Snyder for action, take that for what it's worth). If anything, Goyer likely captures the character essence of Batman, while Snyder captures the movements of Batman.

I don't think so. This going to a more fantasy/Sci Fi take on Bats.

I wonder how much involvement he'll have

Next to none, he did his part he planned out the story with Goyer, helped the pitch along with the big wigs and went and did Interstellar. His name is probably on this purely because of his involvement with the first.

it just seems to me Warners panicked over some of the reaction Man of Steel has gotten and have decided to bring out the big gun team up rather than a Man of Steel sequel.:csad:

That doesn't make sense. If they were panicked, they wouldn't make any sequel. They've always been saying the future of the DCU depended on MOS's performance. It makes more sense that they always had this in their pocket.

No way will it be JGL gonna be Bruce Waye, they know Bats needs the reboot

I don't know how I feel about this really. I think I would prefer Superman getting his own sequel.

A cameo is one thing but sharing the title -- eh.

This is how I feel. Maybe my opinion will change when I hear more about their approach. I just can't get excited about this at the moment.

Agreed  I jusy hope Snyder doesn't go full ****** with the action like he did in MOS. It was over-kill, Supes fighting a world engine with hentai tentacles???? Are you ****ing kidding me???:cmad:

Let's hope Snyder learns from his mistakes :D

Nolan is officially on as Exec producer. Yes
That means nolan will allow WB to use his name in promo and trailers while he sits back and cashes his huge check they paid him.

I think this is probably going to be really bad. Man of Steel barely scratched the surface with Superman as a person and his effect on the world. We need a whole other Superman solo film before we get Batman.

Like, okay, yes, a World's Finest movie as the next installment could be good. Sure. But it's just that, from my perspective, my first instinct coming out of Man of Steel for continuing the story and making the best possible sequel would to do another solo film that further explores who he is as a person and how the world reacts to his existence. I feel like for most people that would be their first instinct too. A World's Finest film, on the other hand, feels like the first instinct of someone trying to ride the coattails of The Avengers and recreate their success and quickly as possible. Maybe it's just me, but this feels like it's coming from a place of cynically wanting to make as much money as possible more than it's coming from a place of telling the best possible story. And that rarely leads to good movies.

At the risk of sounding dismissive and ignorant, I just have to say...if there ever comes a point where a Batman/Superman film goes from possibility to certainty and you aren't having fangasms. Then maybe, just maybe you might want to hand in your geek card and stop overthinking things a little.

It's Batman...and Superman, both are 70+ years old, they have such an immense history in television and cinema outside of their comic books that no one else can match, they are both properties that are red hot right now just like Batman was in the 80's/60's and superman was in the 70's. This alone is bigger than any other superhero team up.

Come on guy...Superman/Batman team up movie.
