Just as there was an IM3 after the Avengers, there can still be a MOS 2 after WF.

That awkward moment when MOS 2 is announced instead of WF and all this is just fake...:wow:.

I'll take what I can get. :funny:

Man of Steel 2, World's Finest, Justice League, Constantine 2. :D

This is my favorite continuity so far. So going to other continuities doesn't satisfy my craving for seeing more of THIS Superman alone.
Well in this continuity, Superman is way ahead of Batman. He has 1 film to none. We need to give the Bat fans something. :funny:

Nolan's trilogy will keep the batfans happy for a while. They're not brining Bruce in to keep them happy, they're doing it to help Supes out.

They are doing it for money I truly think a Batman/Superman film will be bigger than Avengers 2. Now of all times it seems stupid to not do it.

This is going to get complicated, people are going to be torn if MOS' sequel gets delayed. I know the idea of WF being it's sequel, but it does steal half his screen time. He deserves a full movie on his own for his sequel.

True, in the sense that you probably won't get more of stuff like Superman's backstory, or more Krypton flashbacks etc as you would in a MOS sequel. Though this movie could explore both Batman and Superman's pasts and compare/contrast them. Unless it doesn't really focus on Batman's origin and Bruce Wayne's life story and he is a more a presence that appears in Metropolis.

in 2015 MOS 2 gets lost, however, a Batman and Superman movie might just have a chance to WIN 2015. WB knows their only hope is Batman and Superman together. Lex cannot re-build all that destruction alone, he needs help, enter Bruce Wayne

I just hope it is still very much a continuation of MOS, that it is about Metropolis and the Daily Planet and it is something like Bruce helping rebuild Metropolis and his business dealings with Lex etc.

How would you get more Krypton flashbacks when all the access to that stuff was either killed or destroyed?

I am excited to see Cavill back as Superman. I just don't want him to get shortchanged. If WF is a MOS sequel, I want there still to be enough Clark and Lois and Daily Planet.

When's the actual announcement?

It does feel much like a business decision as well, to compete.

Access to that stuff is not actually needed to show a flashback. The filmmakers could just show it. Or find a way to bring back Jor-El/Russell Crowe through Krypton tech.

It's a 2.5 hour panel we've had an hour and 20 minutes-ish. They've done the Legendary films and have just moved on to WB they are on Gravity but also have The Lego Movie and Edge of Tomorrow lined up I believe anything other than that is a surprise.

Don't forget though the announcement of the announcement itself was basically a rumour. The same rumour which has been around for a long time and brought up at anything WB related. But you never know today may be THAT day. Perfect time IMO.

If they are going to announce it, it might be at the end.

Makes sense. Even though it would be HUGE news you'd rather people walk out with it being the last thing on their minds rather than something that happened randomly during the middle.

World's Finest is my DREAM superhero movie.. and I STILL want MOS2 before WF. Having MOS2 proves that this Superman can stand one his own, while allowing for audiences to get more attached to the character.

Adding Batman in the sequel will probably upstage him.

If a movie after MOS2 is made with Batman, then I'm okay with that, even if it does mean Batman will steal more than a few scenes.

To be fair though MOS itself proved a Superman movie can stand on it's own. It made twice as much as Batman Begins, so I don't think it's certain that Batman will upstage Superman in a movie together.

An MoS2 that ends with Clark and Bruce meeting sounds perfect but if they do indeed announce a World's Finest film. I wont be displeased infact safe to say the complete ******* opposite.

ComingSoon.net: We have no confirmation of the DC Cinematic Universe rumor(s) that is going around today yet. Stay tuned.

From their WB panel blog

I think it's going to take adjusting for people because after "Batman Begins" they didn't say that the next movie would team Batman with Superman, where Clark goes to Gotham and helps investigate the appearance of the Joker. I am sure Batman fans would've had a problem with that too, without Batman given his own trilogy the way he was allowed. So I understand the concern from Superman fans. Though if this is as epic as it should be most people will likely be less bothered the closer it is to coming out.

Are Superman fans like self-conscious about the character or something? Upstaged by Batman? He is Superman. :funny:

I think what people mean when they say that is that the fans in the audience in theatres will be more Batman fans than Superman fans, much like how (arguably) a lot of Avengers audience were Iron Man film fans rather than MCU fans.
