Wonder Woman is DC's third most iconic character-though the Flash isn't too far behind. I have a disturbing feeling that WB will stall the WW movie as much as they possibly can, though.
The only way I feel a Wonder Woman movie is coming through is if Marvel beats them to the punch of having a female protagonist movie first. In this case if they ever announce a Black Widow movie with Hawkeye as the other main character. The story will focus heavily and involve Natasha heaps and Barton involves himself and aids her and it somehow becomes Barton's story as well. Scarlett carries enough star power to hold her own in a movie and Renner is placed as a co-star as:
a)They played brilliantly off each other in The Avengers to the point where you don't typically think of one without the other. A good noted example of this in cinema is Han & Chewie.
b)To not totally alienate male audiences.
WB sees this and sees $$$ after Marvel troll-faces them with their $$$ and then we'll hear the Wonder Woman movie green-lit following a similar formula but more DC-ish where Steve Trevor takes on a similar role to Hawkeye in the above theoretical movie.
On another note, I assume everyone here has seen this excerpt from a recent report from Superman Homepage about WB debunking the Batman-casting rumors?
A Superman Homepage source tells us that Zack Snyder may currently be more involved with movie title possibilities and how to represent the film, with the director looking at "World's Finest" and "Public Enemies" ideas for inspiration.
If this is true as a majority here take the debunking by WB as truth, then this is the best news I've heard all day as:
a)Snyder realizes that Batman vs. Superman/Superman vs. Batman is a lousy title and that they're actually changing it to something else!
b)They're looking at other stuff apart from TDKReturns! Like Public Enemies and World's Finest where both of them would actually team up with both on an equal standing and both having good spotlight moments satisfying fans as well as fight. We might actually see them complement each other's skills as seen in Public Enemies as well as maybe some banter?

Plus I've said this before and I'll say it again. A Public Enemies style story would be just great, as it's not just a Superman/Batman story but also a Superman vs Lex Luthor story. So yay! We might get to see Lex Luthor!
