No you are not. I am not one who shares your opinion, but I know plenty who do.

i knew i wasn't the only one with poor taste :gngl: tho for all the hate i see it get around here, i see it's 66 percent on the tomato-meter, which sounds about right. and it also sounds about right, to get myself on topic, that ww will be eclipsing that 66 and i cannot wait to see it

:shakefistguy:

I actually think people go too easy on Thor: The Dark World. That film is practically unwatchable in my book.

But we ended up getting Patty on WW, so it seems to have worked out. :funny:

am i the only person on this planet who loved thor 2?

I didn't wanna talk about other movies right nao but I'll say that Hemsworth and Hiddleston were great in TDW which is otherwise a dull/unintersting movie.

I am very happy to hear Gal is great. I have liked her since getting back into the Fast movies, but honestly thought the trailers didn't make her look good. The more scenes they release, the better she looks. And the reviews seem to confirm that.

The final ending scene is amazing. Just the Dent confrontation didn't work for me even on first viewing. Just one small scene in perfection though :)

That montage gets me every time. Superman and Batman have some of my favorite ending shots. I wonder if Wonder Woman will add to that list.

Now I wanna see the alternative universe where Michelle Maclaren did ended up directing Wonder Woman.:sly:

One negative thing that could come out of this is that the expectations for Justice League will be raised even WAY more than it already is. Critics will put it on a much higher standard and its margin for error just got smaller.

There's been a course correct. There's a certain level of levity and hope put into the franchise.

As long as its not a disaster in the editing room the "fun" aspect should make it at least decent critically (think 55 to 65)

Agreed. I saw the movie as a guest for a friend's birthday and it was the first time during a movie where I really had the urge to walk out. But I stuck around because I am a good friend. :o

And yes, it all worked out for the better with Patty and WW. Lol.

We already know that JL will be panned.

And I don't care. Still LOVE BVS so

I have paid tickets for june 1st to see the film, but i have a pron star crashing at my place for a whole week (I'm serious). WW will get my money again the week after.

You bald bastah, you need to get your priorities straight!

Suicide Squad was a huge misstep, the script needed more revisions. In case of BvS, the movie was butchered at the editing table.

We see who knew what they were talking about with TDW now. :hehe:

I would be over the moon if both Marvel and DC's two big mythologically based heroes both ended up with good movies in 2017 and that this made Hollywood realize that there's great potential in adapting myths to the big screen. Just put more effort than in making the recent TITANS films. I hope WW lives up to the hype it's getting as if it it good then it makes me hope RAGNAROK is also a slam dunk.

Let's put this in perspective... Would any of us have believed in even 1999 that in 2017 both Thor and Wonder Woman would be having films out in the same year? That both their films would be the lead in to shared universe team ups where we get to see the Avengers take on Thanos and the Justice League fight the forces of Apokalips?

Hell in 2003, watching the X-Men run around in their leather, I still wouldn't have believe it. :funny:

Not just revisions. Ayer needed more than six weeks to turn in a shooting script. :funny:

The real deal Suicide Squad with the abusive Joker would've been much, much better. But WB got cold feet.

suicide squad was so bad. i appreciate and respect bvs and outright love a lot of moments in it, but i'm not surprised it got the reaction it did. i think it deserves something closer to a 55-60 fresh rating, but suicide squad is just dismal, beyond redemption imho. i guess ayer was a pretty hot director coming off of fury, otherwise i can't understand why wb rushed that heap into production as their third, or really, second, film in a shared universe. i guess it established magic is a real a thing in this world, but wonder woman would have done that, and surely the flash or aquaman or even ww moved up would have made more sense. thankfully, we finally have ww among us now.
