Well it isnt going anywhere you got time :)

I've already got three tickets for me and others on Saturday but I really wanted to see it this evening. Really could use a break from work, but it just keeps coming :funny:

From what i was told from a friend, there's at least 3 or 4 scenes that could be a tearjerker.

I think I might've heard someone sobbing in the theatre behind me at one point near the end.

OMG!!! It's 3AM and I just returned from seeing it.
It was absolutely AMAZING!!!
The action was fantastic. All of it, even the end. The slow-mo didn't bother me at all, nor did the classic villain in the end. It was a bit cliche at times but most super hero movies are. The chemistry between Gal and Chris is electric. I loved every part of their romance. It felt epic, and grand and real. I'm not the touche-feely sort of girl but it was just so perfect.

The only thing I had some problem with was Gal's accent. It is so Israeli it was distracting for me. It's not so much the accent itself as it is the intonation of how she said it. It was just so modern day Israeli it took me out of the movie a little bit. It didn't bother me for most of the movie. Just in the beginning.

I am really happy I am seeing it again tomorrow :)

Too hyped to go to sleep.

I was so hyped afterwards as well I had trouble sleeping too.

There were too many damn people going to the toilet throughout the movie and obscuring the scenes. Were they taking the piss? :argh:

People should not drink so much during the movie. They certainly shouldn't keep eating salty popcorn, because that makes them want to drink more. And they should also take a dump before the movie even starts, because that will probably press against their bladder and make them want to go even more. Nearly every few minutes people were getting up in front of me, which meant the whole row would have to get up. :cmad:

At least no-one in my row needed the toilet.

Also wear enough clothing in an air-conditioned theatre. Feeling cold just makes you want to go more, whereas if you have something to cover with, that prevents the urge to want to pee.

Sorry about that, mate. Shouldn't have ordered the large Coke.

Is this you again? You're beautiful. :ilv:

Glad you enjoyed the movie. I can understand how if you're from the same country as Gal that her accent could be distracting because it sounds too much like where you're from. It's the same with when other films have something set in London and either have something that is anachronistic or they just get the details wrong (like the Greenwich directions in Thor 2).

The person that decides to sit in the middle or come in late, **** you. That's right, I said it.

Thank you. I got that shirt especially for the screening. :yay:

The shirt looks great. I thought you were going to wear your WW costume though? Or was I mistaken?

Could you see everything clearly? I found some parts hard to see. Don't know if it was just my screen.

Yeah a few people showed up late too. Late comers and people coming in and out of the movie. Never has there been that many people going back and forth during a film.

I considered it but it really isn't common here to dress up for movies. So I decided against it in the end.

I could see everything clearly. The theater I went to is amazing. It's brand new, got tons of leg space (so if someone needs to pass you don't have to move your legs), great screen and sound and really comfortable chairs. Also, all theaters in Israel have reserved sitting.

Lucky you! Being over 6 feet I spent the movie with my knees pressed against the seat in front

Well, being 5'3 I never had that problem :cwink:.
It's the only cinema company I watch movies in. Can't stand the rest.
Even if the other movie theaters have good quality they are usully really close to shopping centers so you get a lot of kids who make noise or open their phone in the middle of the movie. I can't stand seeing the light from a phone screen.

I think I've only ever been to one modern theatre like that in the US. But it's much more crowded here. You definitely have to get up if people need to pass by you.

I don't think this was the best screen. I think the showing is going to move to a different screen tomorrow with a bigger auditorium within the same theatre. Maybe it would've been better to go tomorrow, but I wanted to see it tonight.

I do wish the final battle was during the day though just so I could see it more clearly. The parts in Themyscira really popped and really did look like a paradise island.

I was a bit disappointed that

she was never referred to once in the movie as Wonder Woman. I wish that someone gave her that name. Either Etta Candy or one of the other members of Steve Trevor's team as a nickname. If they've already given Dr Isabel Maru a nickname of Dr Poison, then why can't Diana have one too?

Going tomorrow after work. Been jonesing on the soundtrack for three days straight now! I don't have a WW shirt, but I have a Supergirl shirt and I'll be wearing that. Still, girl power!:jd:

I'm going to see it again tonight with a female friend. She's not really into superhero films so I'm curious to see what her response is.

Wait, really? That's weird. I assumed they'd at least do the whole Newspaper headline given name excuse.

I found the movie was a bit dark especially towards the end (when Diana is riding the horse) but that had to do with the time of day in the scene. And luckily I was at a new screen too. I do think that it would've been quite dark in 3D and that would only be good if you've got a good cinema.

The seating was also spacious and well-arranged where I went so it's not a problem if people get up or come in late etc.

While I didn't go to a special event screening, there were a couple of people dressed up as WW, one guy too had the tiara and bracelets!

Personally I think they did a great job in making the Amazons as a whole have an "exotic" accent to account for Gal's accent. For one, it saved her from having to train in speaking in another accent. And if you think about it, it makes sense for them to have an exotic accent since they are a foreign and isolated people. But hey, you're the Israeli so I can't really tell the difference between the modern day Israeli accent and other forms of it haha. Glad you liked the movie. :yay:
