Considering he gets to play with Wonder Woman the character in the additonal photography on JUSTICE LEAGUE, I think Joss will scratch that itch.

Yes and he will get a chance to direct another female DC character (Batgirl) soon.

DC has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to their female characters.

You better believe that SIRENS and BATGIRL are going to get the fast track on the ASAP after this past weekend.

As much as I am curious about BATGIRL, it's SIRENS that's got me shook...especially if they cast who we all know they need to cast for Ivy. If that cast happens, it's a wrap for me. All the other DC films I'll but up for seeing and all that but it'll be SIRENS that'll have my full, undivided attention.

If Ayer is still attached than it's a disaster. That guy should not be getting another shot in DCEU let alone on this movie

Sorry, who is it that they should cast as Ivy?

I dont see any continuity issues between BvS and WW. They didn't contradict anything and it complements each other very well. When Diana said she walked away from mankind it meant she wasnt a public hero and she left mankind to make its own course. And thats what she did. Simple really.

I agree. Diana left Themyscira believing that she would kill Ares, free mankind from his mental control and then lead mankind into a new Age of Enlightenment based on Amazon values.

Her experience taught her that mankind needed to grow and learn by itself and that it wasn't her place to assume a public role to shepherd mankind to be better. The events of DoJ, including Superman's sacrifice, inspired her to assume a public role as a costumed hero.

None of that means that Diana simply spent 100 years amassing a large personal fortune and finding a new sword and shield while otherwise doing nothing philanthropic or to otherwise help others. I'm sure that Diana was active during WW2, probably preventing various "world ending" magical artefacts from falling into the hands of the Nazis. And I'm also sure that Diana has done what she can to help others over the years.

Hopefully someone who can act. And someone who has great on screen chemistry with Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.

I'm pretty sure that is everyone ;)

Oh man it would be amazing if it was Christina Hendricks. And disastrous if it was Megan Fox

Jessica Chastain. I will not accept any other.

I's like to see a new Supergirl movie done but I'm not sure if they would do it whilst Melissa Benoist's show still going on. Then again they are using two Flash's.

Hell, just give Benoist her own movie. She's fantastic. Love her from the first season.

Yeah, I doubt the show would hold them back. I'm all for another Supergirl film, but I'd rather see her debut in a Superman movie first. I don't want to see their relationship glazed over again.

I love her in the role too, but that's neeeeever gonna happen, lol.

Jessica is a great actor. Wouldnt be opposed to Bryce Howard either.

Bryce is great but she unfortunately has that JW franchise which is not worthy of her. Chastain, her undeserved Globe nomination and puzzling Cannes jury gig aside, has a bomb chasing another bomb in her filmography so she will definitely do this.

Loved her in The Martian and Interstellar.

Oh, absolutely. Saoirse Ronan please.

I would definitely support this.

Ya know, I haven't been following any BTS stuff with Justice League, but if Darkseid himself is not the villain yet (I've only heard about [blackout]Steppenwolf[/blackout]), they could actually have an opportunity to introduce Supergirl in the Justice League sequel too, borrowing select elements from Jeph Loeb's version of her origin - Batman finding her, the Amazons taking her and Diana training her, Darkseid wanting her as one of his Furies - but tying those elements into a bigger, more League-centric story. IF they were so inclined and/or had something else in mind for MoS2, that is.

Patty said they changed the original ending if i remember correctly. Realistically WW would never "walk away" because it isn't in her character.

As I've suggested before

When she says in BvS that a hundred years ago she walked away from mankind, that doesn't have to be interpreted in only one way. It doesn't have to mean that she walked away in 1918 for the next 100 years until the present day. It can also be reinterpreted to mean that she's recalling an event that happened 100 years ago when she walked away/ turned her back on mankind, which although for a moment, still happened 100 years ago.

This is exactly what she did in the movie when Steve was asking her to help and refused as she thought that everyone had been influenced by Ares and they didn't deserve her help. But her crisis of faith was only momentary, and in her battle with Ares she declared that it isn't about what you deserve, but about what you believe, and she believes in love.

She could be saying effectively "100 years ago I had a crisis of faith and turned my back on everyone and this is something I regretted ever since (because of the consequences of that action leading to Steve Trevor's death)." But if she doesn't give you the whole picture and say that after that happened (which was also 100 years ago) she decided that mankind was still worth saving after all, you might get the wrong impression that she has turned her back on mankind ever since.

Of course, they could just ignore that line said in BvS, but if they still wanted to keep it and not create continuity issues, reinterpreting it in this way would be a good way to go.
