Unknown please, not a fan of most of these suggestions

Just watched fury this afternoon and I'm officially on the Logan Lermen needs to be Spider-Man train

Well, Civil War happens first, which probably means he needs to be cast first.

He was my choice for the 2012 re-boot but he's 23 and he'll be 25 by the time Spider-man 2017 comes out and will no longer has the baby face boyish look he had then and once again we'll have a non teenager playing a teenage Spider-man

This casting needs to happen very soon, doesn't CW start shooting in April?

It depends on how big the role is and what the schedule for his filming is. They're shooting for 6 months, from April - Sept.

They say they want to find a director for the solo film so he can way in on casting which makes me believe the role won't be cast for awhile.

So this is official? I thought it was still strongly rumored?

Lerman has a more likeable face and personality.

O'Brien reminds me more of Peter physically but not so likeable at first glance.

The actor from Pleasantville please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He would fit in the MCU so perfect....

I'll be happy with whoever Marvel casts, but from what we've seen so far, my favorite would be either Timothée Chalamet or Asa Butterfield.

O'Brien because he is what I'd consider safe at this point (which I never mind). At least from a public perspective.

Yeah, me too. Never really thought much of the suggestions I've seen and the incessant noise from some fans about them is irritating.

An unknown would be nice. It'd add weight to the Peter Parker role and you'd know this guy X and Y isn't from this show or that show. He's Peter Parker/Spider-Man from Civil War.

He's safe. He fits PP/SM better than any past actor, and on top of that VERY well. He hasn't had too many major roles in popular movies.

14 is way too young in my opinion. I have the rumour isn't true.
I agree... 14 is way too young. 16 I would be fine with. That would allow for Civil War and solo to be High School then he would move into college after. I would be fine with skipping right to college though too.
