Well it's all based on personal view. I like Garfied and Tobey and I'm probably gonna like Tom. But some people out there won't because not everyone has the same point of view.

I like Tobey's Peter better than Garfield

I like Garfield's Spider-man better than Tobey's

If Tom can put together both halves he will literally be the "ultimate" Spider-man.

It's not terribly difficult to just stick to the source material. Peter Parker isn't difficult to characteristically get right. He's not Bruce Wayne. We have 50 years of material to pilfer from. Use it!

Its, Peter has basically been the exact same throught all his comic adventures. I dont see how they xan possibly mess this up

Well, there you go; my point exactly. The problem is the screen writers and directors feel the need to either change the character for the sake of it or they simply don't understand who PP is. Both Raimi and Webb managed to capture certain essences of Peter but Raimi had the good sense not to make Parker come off as too much of a prick at times like what Webb did with Garfield.

I was distracted by Garfield looking and acting exactly like Norman ******* Bates (right down to the nervous stuttering) to buy him as Peter.

Are you listening boyyyyyy?! No...No! Not the fruit cellar!

I'm happy. Marvel and Sony have that **** on lock. It ain't gettin out until they say so. :funny:

For all our sakes, let's hope they don't. We need a solid tenure with one actor at the helm. But I guess it's not too bad. As is stands we have Bale and Keaton equivalents - three films for Maguire and two for Garfield. We don't have 'one and done' actors yet like Lazenby, Routh, Kilmer and Clooney.

Marvel hasnt let us down yet. I doubt theyll do it now

It is debatable. As I always said its all based on everyones personal preference.

Taking the general audience's opinion into account, though, Marvel hasn't let them down, and that's a fact. Go to IMBD or Rotten Tomatoes and you'll find all statistics you might need. The movies received generally favorable reviews by critics and movie-goers alike.

More putrid, lazy, dishonest assessments of the villians (in general). There have been some bad and disappointing ones for sure, but to blanket statement the villians as a whole is just weak.

They're as weak as any other villain in franchise movies (X-men, Fast and Furious, Star Trek)

Well again it all depends on opinion. The main problem I have is that they could lock the villains up and use them again in future films. But instead they kill them all off.

No they don't.

Loki survived 3 films and is currently ruling Asgard posing as Odin.
Red Skull was transported across the cosmos, might see him again in IW.
Blonsky & Hammer were both locked up. We might see Blonsky again, we've seen Hammer in prison.
Crossbones survived, will show up again in CW.
The Winter Soldier survived being a brainwashed villain to become a confused fugitive (and eventually a good guy again).
Klaue survived AoU, might show up in BP.
Build up to Thanos.

Stane, Whiplash, Malekith, The Destroyer, Extremis, Ronan, Yellowjacket and Ultron were all killed off. Red Skull was never confirmed to be transported across the cosmos. But I agree he could be alive
