IMO it's not, the landing could be done with wires, and Holland is more than able to do it. It does look too clean though. But I don't think it's CGI, people jump too soon crying CGI in every shot nowadays.
I think they use too much of it. It makes the movie look fake and it looks too clean like you said. Iron Man's suit is CGI in almost every shot I think.

I am digging the Spidey suit. I was hoping it would adapt more along the Black Panthers suit, but I love the retro look. I wished they had just shown caps shield get taken and not shown him in the flesh...that would have been even greater.

Agreed, CGI is often overused. But that shot of Spidey, to me, doesn't look like CGI, just clean (as the suit is brand new and clean)

Underwhelming because you knew he was in the movie. For general audiences who don't follow every news item, they will be blown away.

By "underwhelming", I meant that the final trailer didn't need Spider-Man at all. Save his reveal for when people go to see CA:CW, instead of spoiling each major story beat. Die-hard MCU fans know Spidey's in it, but not everyone will.

And I find it really hard to muster up excitement for a new Spider-Man after going through two previous actors in a relatively short amount of time.

I dunno, I'm not blown away by it like I thought I was going to be. The design looks like the old 70's live action suit, but updated for the MCU.

I'm kinda split on it, right now.

I currently live in Greece,. and i showed this trailer to 8 of my friend,s. they all flipped their **** when Spiderman showed up.

I like the eyes. There is a mechanical reason to why they move unlike in Deadpool. Not that there is anything wrong with that in Deadpool.

I'm like a proud parent seeing their kid graduate. I can't tell you how much I love it. The costume is great too. Very, very surprisingly clean looking which I love. I love what the eyes can do too. It's very classic but feels different too and looks to be a cross between Alex Ross and Romita Sr.

I'm guessing Tony supplies him the suit and web shooters. That's how you can justify something like those things.

It reminds me of this

First thing I thought of

The eyes, The simpleness of the material in that it looks one-tone and cosplay and not with detail and sheen and The needless additions of the black bands.

I'd rank this as the second worst above the ASM1 costume. The Raimi costumes had sheen and small details to give the costume vibrancy and basically managed the spandex look without it looking like one piece of one coloured fabric. It had the little hexagonal detailing to give it depth. It's had the raised webbing rather than printed for the same reason but this ignores all of that and this it looks too simple and plain.

It's cool they've emoted the eyes though it's just a shame the black is so thick as a result and I love the tick on the back, not the tiny one on the front. It's not terrible it's just a huge step down in terms of quality we've had so far

The costume really looks weird in juxtaposition with the more grounded costumes of the other characters, which is also why it looks so fresh by comparison to the Raimi and ASM1 costumes.

Still don't hate it though. Looks neat

Well, averagely speaking numerically, this new spider-man still works out better than the 5th cinematic batman you're using as your avvy.

After I found out how they used CGI to let the costume eyes emote in Deadpool I knew they'd start using something similar for Spider-Man :sly:

It looks great the costume is bright and that might be to distinguish him from other versions (and possibly the de-colorized costumes in some recent superhero movies); however, I agree with people who don't think the trailer really needed him.

I didn't think that was CGI. Is it? I can't tell.

I love that line too and how it's delivered so innocently and the fact it sounds like an actual teenager under that mask. He really does feel like this kid who's kind of in over his head in a way. The juxtaposition of him with the Avengers really makes him feel so unique.

Spider-Man looks fantastic. He's essentially the Romita Spider-Man with the body of the costume being a hodgepodge of various different costumes Spidey has sported over the years.

Love the inclusion of CGI to smooth out the design and obvious eye work. Let me also say that physically Holland has a beautiful and proportionate build which will lend for a very visceral experience when watching this on the big screen.

Keaton, Kilmer and Clooney movies are in the same continuity so it's not the same thing.

I love the new suit. Reminds me of Alex Ross/Romita Sr. The (whatever the reverse of raised is)webbing reminds me of the ASM1 suit which I dug.

Can't wait for this. **** Iron Man. Go Team Cap!

Edit: Guess that dude that posted the description of the trailer a while back was legit.
