Ok, I just watched Jurassic Park on AMC.
At the end, The T-rex just appears out of nowhere.
When I saw it, in 1993, I remember the t-rex busting through the wall, and thats what they reacted to, not the random appearance of a HUGE Dino in a room with doors meant for humans.
I remember getting the VHS, and being disappointed that it had been taken out.
Does anyone else remember this?

I just watched it on AMC as well but I don't really remember if the T-Rex burst through the wall

i don't recall that, either. i remember 'him' just showing up.

Never happened.... I always thought he came through a portal (rolling eyes) but hey it's a movie... and a darn good one...

You talkin about where the t-rex caught the raptor
yes, near the end.
He breaks through the wall, then catchs the Raptor. I think if you watch the letterbox version, you can see the hole he made.

By the way... is JP4 ever happening... I heard it was slated for 09... any chance of reuiniting the cast... I hope at least Neil and Goldblum come back... they really gotto make that one count if they got any hope of revitalizing the franchise...

There aren't any versions of the T-Rex busting through the walls. I'm sorry to say but your memory is incorrect. The T-Rex appears out of nowhere at the end without even a sound or the trembling water sequence. This is a big nitpick for fans of Jurassic Park.

I heard it was going to be about Lex, and the Dino's beginning to "invade" the mainland.

Lex??? Sorry haven't seen these movies in a while... she the little girl? If they bring her back they might as well bring the kid brother back... if they'd do it ofcourse...

You might be right. This was all the way in 1993, and i was a kid. It might have been my way of a making it make sense.

Damn... didn't know so many people actually watched it tonight... don't we all just love movies...

That bit was DEFINETLY filmed, and then taken out.

Hang on while I find that written somewhere....

They probably took bits out for time constraint cuz it was on TV.

No, I think Spielberg wanted the T-Rex grabbing the Raptor as the last second to be a complete surprise.

Nope, I wore the hell out of my VHS copy as a kid, and I don't remember ever seeing that part.

I believe you. I've only seen it 3-4 times.

I love false memories.

In Kiss Meets The Phantom of the Park, my friends and I would always quote the thug, "You call an 800 pound gorILLA doin' a HURKy JERKy "PerFECTION"?!?"

We'd always say that.
Then years later we watched it, and he just says, "You call a gorilla doin' a Hurky Jerky "perfection"?!?"

Where the hell'd we get "800 pounds" from?
lol

That happens to me sometimes, but I'm generally better than all my friends at remembering lines.
