The first season was a pleasant surprise indeed. Since Marvel isn't doing anything with them, this kind of hits that X-Men spot.

The first season was great and this season looks even better and honestly I'm actually way more excited for this than I am for the next/final season of The Boys.

This show is definitely scratching that X-Men itch and man I can already tell all the references to Chance Perdomo's character is going to make this season feel even more somber and emotional.

I still can't believe he's gone.

While appearing earlier this week on Live with Kelly and Mark in support of his new Prime Video series, Countdown, the actor revealed that cameras will begin rolling on Vought Rising very soon, sharing,

“I’m workin on a few different shows right now, so I’ve got Countdown which is out right now — Prime Video. We filmed that out in Los Angeles, but there’s a new show coming up that I start next month, which is Vought Rising, a spin-off of The Boys.”

When asked by co-host Kelly Ripa if the title would be “just as demented as The Boys,” Ackles laughed and said,

“Of course it will! It’s in the same [universe]. And we just finished Season 5 of The Boys, well, they just finished, I wrapped a little earlier. So, that is now in the can and should be out next year.”

Yeah, the trailer is good. Just, the loss of Chance just kills my enthusiasm. I'm sure I will watch it and enjoy it though.
