While rudd without a doubt would do well he doesn't scream hank to me same goes for JLG who I think is TOTALLY wrong for the tole

Patrick Wilson has always been my dream choice for Pym, to me he screams Hank Pym

I mean just thinking of Wilson going toe to toe(verbally) with the RDJ's Stark would be a sight to see

RDj would murder him; personality-wise. since when is Patrick Wilson a quipster? he generally plays somewhat "cardboard" individuals. it's why they chose him for 'Hard Candy.' he's just so friggin normal. Rudd isn't ideal but he generates more excitement than Patrick Wilson; i bet.

of course. but not in the context of "To Steal an Ant-Man." i guess they could have two morose leads. but it sounds like a bad idea. and, like the other poster mentioned, Patrick Wilson does have the look. he's just not exciting. i don't think he has anything new to bring to the character of Hank Pym; nothing to elevate him. ideally, the actor should make Pym entertaining enough that people would be excited to see him in an Avengers movie.

Pym could often be quipster in the comics. Even back in the old Tales To Astonish stories he cracks jokes fighting villains, although he isn't a spider-man level joker Pym is far from a serious character all the time. Pym quipped alot in the West Coast Avengers.

If Rashida is cast as Janet, she would be only the second black woman (although officially mixed since her mother is white and her father is the famed Movie/TV Composer Quincy Jones) to join MCU.

I didn't know she was half black. But does Rashida look half Asian? I didn't really think so. She kind of reminds me a bit of the young Lauren Holly, as well as a little bit like Autumn Reeser (whom I guess could look slightly mixed too).

In the Ultimates, she was Asian while Miller was writing it and Hitch was the artist.

She was also a mutant. I'm sure they won't do THAT.

In the book, while they were all casting themselves, Fury cast her as Lucy Lui, in which she made a comment basically saying "Oh yeah, you cast her as me since all Asians look alike".

Around Supreme Power and definitely when Loeb took over, she kinda changed race, at the same time Thor and Scarlet Witch changed their looks and several characters changed their personalities to fit more with 616.

I doubt it because I believe most people think Rashida is white, not realizing that in fact, she's half black. It's kind of like how the Rock is actually half black although he looks more Samoan.
