Is Faora Returning to DC Comics? The Mysteries of the Superman/Wonder Woman Gatefold Cover

Tony Daniel has posted his full pencils for the first issue for the Superman/Wonder Woman Cover and it is very nice and shows some characters that we haven't seen for a while.

If you saw Man of Steel, and I'm sure quite a few of you did, the one character that everyone agreed was done well was Faora, played by Antje Traue. I enjoyed seeing a female character that broke traditional conventions and was a totally evil badass.

So it was interesting looking at the pencils Daniels posted to see this character standing next to a character who looks like General Zod (Channeling Superman II Terence Stamp not Michael Shannon):

That sure looks like Faora.

Faora, of course, originated in comics and also appeared in the Smallville TV show. But both those versions were quite different looking.

Honestly, I'd easily trade you the Pandora book for one with Faora, but then I don't make those decisions.

Btw, interesting rendition of Faora there, Dr. Strange. I especially like how the helmet/visor turned out. Good stuff.

Well, you have to make sure to use the right keywords combined with search filters like time and/or type and/or size and you'll get flooded with the good stuff.
Most of the time it's sifting through old redundant material to get to the new shiny things though.

Maybe she didn't feel like participating in that stupid little game or, polite as she is, just wanted to let Jeff Bridges have the opportunity to show off his geek knowledge.
