Ollie and Nyssa: Man and wife! :db:

Seriously,it's obvious the Omega wasn't in that vial. It's probably some sedative.

I'm glad they did the sensible thing and had the gang go "Who the heck is she?" Made little sense that they'd take the word of a total stranger. They really should've introduced her earlier this season.

Katana didn't disappoint. She looked great and Rila really gave a moving performance when it counted. I really wanted Maseo to redeem himself, but I wasn't really surprised at the outcome.

Flashbacks were OK. You got a good sense of the desperation they were under.

I'm kinda torn on Ollie playing Ra's for a chump. On the one hand,I wish there was a real "Blood of Kali" thing going on with him. But since there wasn't,it only makes sense he's sharp enough to resist being broken.

I was slightly disappointed with the Roy/Thea thing. I probably could've taken it had Roy kept the suit. I could at least take some comfort thinking Arsenal was still out there and could turn up in the show at any time. Now, he's just a poor slob on the run.

Ray was great as usual. His "little idea" for his suit...ho ho ho. Let's see it already! I guess these guys want to save it for the team up show? But,seriously get off the pot, guys. Let him shrink!

Nice to see Malcolm is as slimy as ever. Of all things this season,I've been disappointed in his turn as a "frenemy".

I really liked Felicity this episode. She's been getting a lot of crap lately, but EBR/the character was great. I liked the gag with her throwing the computer. It was funny enough, even without the extra punchline from Malcolm.

I can understand Digg being upset with Ollie (particularly about leaving baby Sara alone, that's pretty unforgivable) but I hope they don't drag this out for long. They've been through too much together to separate now.

Anyway, great episode. Looks like the finish will be a doozy. Arrow's been pretty good at ending their season's on a high note thus far!

Felicity was beyond annoying in this episode. Like she went super mode.

'I cant believe he is marrying her'

You sound like fangirl, you are about to die......

I thought that was pretty funny. (I think it was supposed to be.) Malcolm's like "You should be more concerned about us dying!":hehe:

Did the first half of this episode look...cheap, to anybody else?

I thought the episode as a whole was subpar. A lot of things felt off. Also: I really like Laurel, but she should NOT have been able to handle an assassin, let alone three.

The bit where Palmer took down the plane was really well done, though. As was the wedding.

5.5/10.

So Ra's mentions he had "a" child in his story. Was that supposed to nix the prospect of Talia?

Seeing Oliver and Nyssa married opens up interesting stories.

Katana in action and killing Maseo was beautiful and tragic.

Dinah Laurel and Atom had their great moments, especially with Atom flying to take down a plane. Might as well ship Ray and Felicity.

Thea and Roy ended on a lame note, but we will have a new Speedy.

Well it looked great.

That certainly was a memorable wedding. I figured the bride would wait to try and kill the groom till the wedding night,at least. :hehe:

Were we supposed to think that they all died from the poison?

The Jason Todd easter egg was pretty cool.

honestly id rather see what would happen with Oliver and Nyssa, instead of Oliver and Felicity's relationship.

I thought this episode was great and the battle was a highlight. It was ambitious as hell to even try something like that on a TV budget. Ray in a sky fight was really cool to watch and I thought it was done well. Then Katana having to end the suffering of her husband must of been brutal. I wish they spent more time with this character in the present day. Then you end it with the Oliver and Nyssa married OMG the shockwave that must be sending to Olicity fans must be astronomical. It feels like I haven't given Arrow in a 10/10 in a while but it deserved this episode.

I really liked this episode, could've shortened the flashback or Thea/Roy but overall I really enjoyed it.

Can't say how refreshing it was to see Black Canary fight with some technique! Of course her being able to handle the LOA was a bit of a stretch, but she already fought them 2 episodes ago so I don't mind that much, if at all honestly. Just chalk it up to her training with Nyssa really paying off within 1-2months. They really need to change the Canary Cry sound or at least specify if BC can control how strong it is, when she lets out that cry, ears should bleed. And it would've made perfect sense for her to use it during the fight in NP.

I was worried about what they would do with Felicity during the fight but they got around it by just having the LOA ignore her till the end which was fine.

Really hoping that they have a good way to explain TA surviving the "poison" since Al Sha-Him being a sham was a let down and the whole "we don't kill on weddings" or whatever was a bit of a stretch to have them survive as long as they did.

The wedding went off without a hitch, SURPRISE! said barely anyone. Glad they went through with it since coping out of it after having Al Sha-Him be fake and finding a way to let TA survive as long already took all the cop out they can do within an episode.

Katana looked GREAT, probably the best costume in the series imo. Her having to kill Maseo was sad but I was fully expecting her to lose so I was happy to see that she didnt.

Really wishing the finale was 2 hrs long.

Was that Felicity's first kill? They seemed to gloss over the fact if it was. It does indicate though that she's definitely been getting some sort of training from Diggle or Laurel... Or whoever.

Diggle's PISSED! Good... Oliver crossed the line with taking Lyla and I'm glad that the writers haven't ignored that.

Laurel looks better without the mask and wig than with it.

Felicity didn't kill that guy. Malcolm shot him in the back.

I'm not sure whether this is genuinely good or just good in comparison to the rest of the season, but either way I really like this episode. Felicity was mostly good, which is usually the biggest problem, and Malcolm was treated like the snake he is, which is normally the other biggest problem. The team reacted intelligently and believably for pretty much the whole episode and it's so sad that this is now 'praise' in the context of this show.

The Roy/Thea stuff was pretty great, imo, and it left a grin on my face in the same way that Olicity made me grimace.

Ra's is ten levels of gross. He pretty much said that he raped Nyssa's mother, and basically said the same would happen to his own daughter. I really hope they actually kill him off, because he is complete scum and I'd prefer not to have him on my screen beyond this season (also, the show seems kind of bad at bringing back big bads, since both Slade and Malcolm were way worse on their return appearances).

I was actually OK with Oliver's not being brainwashed. At least it saved us from a tearful brainwashing cure from Felicity.

I kind of liked that Malcolm was actually trying to do the right thing, but the second his life is in real danger, he reverts to hardcore self-preservation. Spineless, but interesting; I really like the idea of someone trying to do the right thing, but without the courage to actually put his own well being on the line.

For me, the peak of this episode was Tatsu/Maseo (particularly Tatsu). The fight was lovely, and the ending was heartwrenching.

I'm interested to see where they take this for the finale.

This episode was nice, and I'm finally actually looking forward to the next episode, rather than it just being the thing I watch on Wednesday night.

P.S. Massive props to Rila and Katrina this episode, A+ acting.

Watching now. So the Canary Cry actually does stuff now? That's good.

"You think that justifies you hospitalizing people?"

...what exactly do you think happens when Oliver shoot arrows into people?

BEST FREAKIN EPISODE OF THE SEASON!!! About Damn TIME!!
Mannnnn! totally dug KATANA! her killing Maso and telling him to say hello to their son was some strong stuff! Dug Atom finally wrecking shop( even if i want him to shrink!) it was cool!! loved him telling Ras did you see what i did to that jet! hahah and i am sorry to all the Laurel Haters but she looked GOOD!! finally without that stupid wig and lipstick! Loved at the beginning with the canary cry and Diggle beating the crap outta those guys!! SHE LOOKED GOOD( i want a Laurel/ Diggle "a Larriggle ship" going on Hahahah!)damn! it was about time for stuff to come together! LOVED IT!!

"None of you are particularly good actors."

Fourth wall breaking? :o

Nyssa on this show is just... :atp:

And Katana actually doing things! :woot: Nice costume too, looks much better than the still we got originally. Though I do still prefer the Suicide Squad version.

Go figure the best gif I could find of Katanas costume has to be where she is cradling her dead husband, but it was one of the best scenes of the episode and her outfit is my fave at this point.

Yeah, that is a great suit... very classic warrior look, with a hint of new-age.

I would say the finale is two parts long...this is part 1 and next week is part 2. but I wish they could be together instead of separate so the cliffhanger would work better

It definitely looked much better on screen. And I honestly thought they were going to give her the Deadshot treatment there for a minute.
