Only thing related to his comic counterpart is his name and working for HIVE. He has mostly been reworked.
If I remember right he worked for every agency nearly but h.i.v.e. prior to the new 52 and was really a villain he was how ever illusive . right now this Damien darkh is a cross between him self and what brother blood as truly supposed to be.

Which mean's they could have done that with brother blood from the start/jump since he was a hive head member under Queen B. Oh well it was a good start to the season .

Speedy isn't supposed to die in the comics...but technically since Oliver was supposed to be an orphan in the comics, they killed Oliver's mother off...Thea isn't actually supposed to be Speedy and Oliver never had a sister in the comics, and his sidekick, Speedy was never his sister.

I'd think this series would not kill off Speedy but they can anyways. Killing off main comic book characters in movie adaptations has been a tradition since freaking X-Men: The Last Stand.

Not to mention most recently, Quicksilver...sucxx.

I hope it wouldn't be Malcolm Merlyn who kills Thea.

So ideally if they were to kill off Thea, then all Oliver gets is a replacement for Speedy.

I can't take it. It's just too much. I don't think I could handle it. At least not Thea. Felicity should just leave. It's better than dying.

No, that won't happen. But look they're happy together. Oliver is going to regret returning after this...I don't know about this. Looks like it's bound to happen. Always has to be the worst way.

it would make sense and make way for mia in the future as an adopted or blood daughter but I don't think it's be for a while .

I hope that grave was ray's but it;s likely some within team arrow or Close to them like captain lance once was.

Based on schedule conflicts i'm pretty sure the grave is for

Detective Lance

Not big in general, just a sizeable portion of the fanbase itself. When I see Arrow mentioned online (outside of immediate aftermath of episodes) it's generally 'Olicity' fans.

[/SPOILER]

That is meaningless. Think about it a 15 year old girl obsessed with Felicity can make countless posts/tweets/whatever. it doesn't make that 115 year old girl more than the 1 viewer this 51 year old man is.

After the AoS premiere last week I saw it trending top ten or maybe even 5 on Yahoo. But that didn't give a ratings boost because enthusiastic fans can make a lot of noise. they don't do much for viewership though.

it won't surprise me if it is him. As I just said it up top my self , he's a likely candidate and they have put him in bad path of late. So it makes the most sense.

Yeah, he's already loved through a lot and it would make sense for him to sacrifice himself after being used/or whatever he is with Damien.

The presence of Barry makes very little sense if the person who died is anyone other than Felicity, and we know it's not a 'fakeout' death.

well he did meet captain lance once but some how I just don't see it being felicity lol it would be interesting but we'll see. but who ever's grave it is it more then what ray got. some is actually visiting a grave of theirs. while there is a hint of that for him after what he did for them. yeah he was talk about but it was like they felt sad about him passing.

it's a good thing he'll turn up to be alive later. and when he does I hope he leave's to help run the business side of star labs in barry town so it can be used a a real lab and place of work and take off some stress from both barry and cisco. who don't have that in their back grounds.

But, him missing the funeral because of Zoom isn't as bad for Lance as it would have been for Felicity. Barry should show up for anyone on Team Arrow, as would Ollie for Team Flash. They're all family at this point...

A person is not going to travel several hundred miles to visit the graveside of someone with whom they don't have a close relationship... especially if they're a hero whose city is in danger.

For Barry, it's like less than a few minutes.

this is same dude that came to revue them in nandaparbot which is even farther went back to question fuex well's after words and he most came to check upon oliver as much as the person inthe grave we'll find out who that is in there soon . may be this season he got to know Lance better if it's him that bit's it.. and he is a fellow cop you never know ... let it be well known to claim the murder of his mother even if it wasn't really dr. well's but someone posing as dr. well's all this time . but hey his(barry's) old man's free. . I'm just saying it could be alot of things.

^ It doesn't matter how long it would take him to make the journey; he wouldn't even embark on it - especially if his city were in danger - if he didn't have a close relationship with the deceased, and, like it or not, the only person in Star City with whom he has that kind of relationship is Felicity.

we'll see. we'll have our answer when they show it to us finally.

...people do it all the time in real life. He was there to support Oliver. If Central City was at a point where it absolutely needed him to be present at all times, then he probably wouldn't have made the trip. However, he did, so it probably isn't.

it's not like he need's special things to pack of the his city that overlaod with crime ether. he has done it for such little things as advice from Oliver too.

Being there for a buddy for support or if it's her or maybe as with the up coming cross over he got to really know Lance(like and probably not the case til we see it)

It's not like he needed to book a flight there, back and a room for the night, he just takes a half hour he'd be doing something else in to go support a friend during a hard time.

No, they don't. It wouldn't be worth the expense.

I don't want Felicity to be the deceased, but there's really not anyone else it could realistically be that would draw Barry to Star City in the middle of a crisis.

what expense ? he doesn't have to pack as he done it for little things as advice from Oliver and has done this often and the city isn't that overload with crime as we think. he has already done so many times already . just wait we'll have our answer.

No, they don't.

Yes, they do. That's a fact.

Unless the city isn't in the middle of a crisis.

Even if it is, I think the Fastest Man Alive can spare a few seconds to comfort his friend before getting back to work. It's not like he came and attended the funeral from start to finish.

yup just wait and we'll have our answer on who it is .

Barry has never before left Central City when it was in immediate danger, and it's implied that he did so here.

I liked the episode. It was a lot like the Flash one last night. Went by fast with some slow moments. All about bringing the team back together and setting up the rest of the season.

Barry has never before left Central City when it was in immediate danger, and it's implied that he did so here.

Why would Barry leave Central City while it was under attack to pay his respects? That doesn't make sense. He took care of whatever needed to be taken care of before he came, which is why he missed the funeral.

If it was Felicity I would think that Barry would show more emotion than that. Besides, based on the producers comments Olicity isn't going away anytime soon.

It does if it's Felicity who died.

He took care of whatever needed to be taken care of before he came, which is why he missed the funeral.

A tag of "6 months later" places that graveside scene in April, assuming that the build-up to the scene happens in real time, and there's no chance in heck that they completely resolve the Zoom crisis a month-and-change before the end of the season.
