Arrow Arrow fighting off Darhk's magic

My one beef since Constantine appeared. Is that Arrow keeps fighting Darhk and getting beaten with magic. Wouldn't it have made sense if Ollie contacts Constantine again and asks if their is anything he can do to counteract or at least level the playing field? Don't even need for Constantine to appear it could be handled over the phone or off-camera. Maybe, even Constantine telling Oliver to find Zatanna for help. Nice way to bring her on the show.
