Good start to the season! Though I was not expecting Sara to be killed off so quickly! And I have to say I am sad to see her go. Even though I am all for Laurel becoming Black Canary, I was hoping that they would just end up doing something different with Sara instead of killing her off. But I guess we cant have our cake and eat it to.

What an amazing episode to start off season 3. They really took off quick. I really enjoyed how Brandon Routh played Ray Palmer. I'm looking forward to seeing him more. As for Sara...

Anyway...

Seemed kinda early to have the whole "Felicity Oliver" storyline,but we are in the 3rd season now,so I guess I can't grumble too loudly....

Routh walks in and I can't help but think of him as Superman.He had me laughing near the end,so I'm sure I can shake the weirdness of it before long.

I don't really know for how much longer they can string out the flashbacks.It was interesting as backstory the 1st season,was cool cause of Slade & Sara last season,but this year?I dunno....

Didn't like the Count.Or I should say,I liked the old Count better.This guy barely registered any interest for me.The Ollie vs Arrow thing was cool and made me harken back to SM3. t:

I don't know what to make of the Lance thing.What's wrong with him?

I loved seeing Roy as a proper sidekick.I wish they focused on them together a bit more.

Obviously,the Sara appearance seemed strange.She showed up for what,exactly?Oh,that's right-to get killed off in a completely random and pointless manner.

Was decent enough.Probably better than last year's season premier.But,I'm taking off a point for that bizarre death at the end.

It's too early to say that it was "pointless." This is probably part of the big villain plot for this season.

Well,pointless in that they had the chance to have her die as part of a big story arc last year against Slade,yet they keep her alive so they can give her a 10 second death in the last few minutes of the opener.


Such a waste.
