I hated the ending! My guess is that Malcolm did it to stir up things for Oliver and crew and Ras

I hate they killed off sara. Now stuck with Laurel. Not a good trade.

I think Ra's killed her.He is the big bad of season.

There were freaking THREE awesome action sequences in this episode. What the hell did you expect?!?!?!

I disagree with absolutely everything you said. Ha.

So you honestly don't believe they are playing the Olicity fanbase for a bunch of fools? The producers every now and then will give that fanbase something to chew on but in the big picture the relationship is going nowhere. When I saw they were going ona date I said something will happen withing then next couple episodes that they will decide to split apart and I was wrong, it happened in the exact same episode.

It's terrible writing trying to fit something in with the only intention of fan servicing a group of fans and only leads to hurt the quality of a show. As somebody who was a fan of Smallville I seen how trying to fan service 3 different shipper groups dragged down the quality of a show, seems my worst fear is happening again in Arrow.

I loved that they killed off a (pretty much universally) loved character.

Makes the "big bad" for this season already mean so much. Who isn't ready for Oliver to get his hands on Ra's and company (Komodo)?

I don't think they waste the budget for one episode for action........there more to this show than Action!

Nope, there is a genuine reason for the two characters to want to be with each other and there is also plenty of reasons they can't be.

They aren't playing them for fools, if people want to get that upset over a romance not happening, well that's the point. Oliver and Olicity are just as upset that it isn't happening.

Less feelings, I guess?

I like Olicity, and I didn't feel played for a fool. I actually had more respect for the relationship when Felicity was so aware and stood her ground. So even if they don't get together, it means something for the characters. That's called good writing, when characters do things that make sense that have an effect on them and their world.

I think some of the action sequence will be next episode.......this is a balance between action/drama

I take it Nathan is banned?

I think Roy have a lack of dialogue in this episode.......I hope he has more next episode.....and they need to explain all the new tech they have

I'm so curious to hear Nathan's take on this considering that he was so against the idea of Sara dying.lol

Ow! ow! ow!! my heart!! are serious!!! like an arrow through the heart with that ending!! Damn!!:waa: i cant believe it
but gotta say Roy swinging around that bad guy/ throat punch was freakin COOL!!
...but how could you arrow... i still cant believe..wow!

Sara's shocking demise doesn't mean we've seen the last of her, as per the producers.

Here is the problem, why even waste time on the romantic relationship if it's not ever going to go anywhere. All we are going to get is a bunch of nuts thrown the direction of Olicity shippers every few episodes but no payoff in the end or intention of it ever happening. It's rather pointless. I really wish the Felicity character was made a lesbian so that way we don't have to deal with Oliver and Felicity hints every few episodes.

This was the first episode of the season there was much better ways to focus it's time then the date gone to hell(that will lead to nothing in the end but a bunch of tumblr posts)

Great episode! Didn't see the ending coming this early in the season :csad:

I was expecting it to happen in S2 so this was a surprise to me. RIP sweet Sara. You were a great character. Looking forward to how this impacts Laurel. This is the first time in a while where I enjoyed her character.

Really strong season opener with a gut punch finale.

I've not read the thread but I am sure there are some not happy with the way Ollie actually made his move with Felicity and then back tracked ala Batman in deciding he can't have both lives, but I didn't mind it.

The opening action sequence was absolutely brilliant, the stunt team constantly impress with what they pull off on a TV budget.

I like how Roy and Ollie are now working as a team and the mere mention of Thea hits Roy. His bomb disarming at the end was cool.

Palmer is a smug prick, interested to see how he fits into things, just as it will be interesting to see how Diggle, Laurel and Captain Lance are used this season as things have changed for them all.

The Hong Kong set up is intriguing and I think it will deliver some good stuff this season.

As for that ending, wow! Sad as I liked Sara and I am not keen on Laurel becoming the Canary, but I am intrigued by who took her out, I can't see why they would hide it being Merlyn and I don't see Ra's using a bow and arrow. I am guessing it was Komodo.

Any guess what Oliver will do when he lose the company to Palmer..........he can't be the arrow all day
