Team Arrow considers Malcolm's offer to help shut Brick down, but Felicity is against the idea, even though the team could use help to save the innocents of the Glades. Meanwhile, flashbacks chronicle Malcolm's descent from kind-hearted father and husband to cold-blooded killer after the murder of his wife.

Since it seems like Oliver is already back by this episode, his whole "death" was done the wrong way and could've/should've been a lot more intense.

Agreed...

Hell, it would have been nice to see how the City would react to hearing that the "Arrow" was dead. We didn't even get a proper response from Detective Lance. The impression that I got was that Lance simply thought that Green Arrow left the business (not killed off).

We didn't even see people hold a mock funeral for Oliver, which would have been a great place for several emotional moments, with us seeing the members of Team Arrow reflect on what Oliver meant to them all individually, etc.

I see it as a weird focus issue with the writers of the show kinda like how some certain couldn't ha some certai comic's with out wolverine in the titles of some comic's be they X titles or not with marvel at times .

Cause the writers aren't that skilled or more obsessed with one character over the others and just mostly put all their thoughts idea's into Oliver in this case.

We should be happy that they did two whole episodes where they had team arrow operate with out Oliver for two whole episodes. it must have bee alot to bare for them.

I agree, I honestly felt like they could've lasted the rest of the season without him and have him return in the finale, but I give them props for not bringing him back in the same episode.

Yay, Sin is back. Though I'm guessing she's going to see Laurel and think something is wrong with Sara.

Sin? Oh yeah the last Time I saw the actress was Noah Wilyes & Rebeka Romain new show the Librarians as a guest star.

Well she's back sorta.

I swear, if I hear someone say "the Fire Rises" in this episode, I'm going to laugh my heart out to it.haha

I really am not feeling the possibility of Oliver coming back just at the right time to perhaps save the day. I want Team Arrow to win this on their own, with a lot of pain and blood.

The writers of show want him back cause their entire focus is on him though . They don't realize they might get more praise if they did it the way you suggest. have come back way later with a surprise for Ras etc. they might lack some imagination there .

Yeah I know, they are hellbent on making sure that everyone knows whose show this is.

yeah not that would take away his show all they have to do is make sure his come back was epic to take down Ras . but let the rest of team arrow take down brick . it is what it is.

I don't think the writers are confident enough to have Oliver be gone for a few more episode because of rating. Since brick is a GA villain, Oliver should be the one who defeat him even if he has done nothing to prove they are enemies.

you mean ratiing's, yeah all they have to do is show him recovering and training and prepairing a plan have him slowly come back like him helping from the shadows if they're that scared on the it's that same issue I said with some comic writers trying to make a name for them selves but can't cause their focus is on one character too often i team books too. it's why bran Micheal Bendis is called a super scribe cause he uses other characters other writers were afraid to , or too lazy or can't be bother to use . which is sad when you think about it

I have a theory that Brick taking over the Glades is part of some plan orchestrated by Ra's in order to get Merlyn out of hiding in the city...

I wonder who all the "good" guys are vs. Bricks army? I want to think it is the police but I don't think so. But it seems like to much of a retread to have it be the LOA again.

Eh,he's the hero for a reason. He needs to come back to settle the stuff going down in his city in his absence.

We all know that. But TA can still have a win without him. Not like Brick is THE big bad of the season.
