I have inadvertently pre-polled. But I expect that to remain the same!
Okay, yeah, my vote is staying as is. Liked this episode, as much for the crossover as for the
feels! Have to keep in mind that this is the Arrow's 100th, so it felt like the crossover did take a backseat for a lot of it, but I can't fault them. Sure I would have wanted more Kara and Barry, but that's because they are my favorite characters from all four shows.
And I can understand Felicity calling them in. They needed to deal with Cyberlady real quick, and the quickest way to do that was with supers. In fact the only Team Arrow member who could have handled her quickly was Ragman, as all the others would have struggled the way Wilddog was.
So yes, while they weren't there long, while they were there, it was epic!
Her little wave from atop top the trailer...

She and Barry two-teaming Cyberlady and
high-fiving as they switch! OMG that was great!

t:
And then Kara punching her across the room and Barry giving her an
atomic clothesline!
Sweet!!
Oh man, they did it
well...
At least in my opinion. I'm reading how a lot of others differed and were a bit disappointed. As a crossover episode, it was light. But as an Arrow episode, it was
tight.
And shows great insight into Oliver, and what he wants. As he stated himself, this interlude has shown him there is still a lot to do back in the real world. It's like he needed to see a flashback to not only remember how things were, but how they
could have been and I would
love for the writers to keep this is mind.
It would be terrible to just forget it, because I want Oliver to reference this experience as giving him a renewed sense of purpose and drive to clean up Star City and give others a little of the peace that he can only experience now in imagination. This could mark a major growth for the character - if they follow up on it.
And now, seeing Laurel again was awesome and doubles down on my hope that she'll be brought back onto the show. That whole sequence with them together should not have had to come during a
fantasy. It should have come about after four seasons of them pushing and pulling at each and finally
winning that moment of happiness. It has taken too long to get it, and it vanished way too soon...
Crap on whoever it was who decided to kill her off!!
Bring her back, ye Gods of the Arrowverse! Bring her back...
Now for a little fantasy of mine own.
It came while Oliver was saying goodbye to Laurel and I had the sudden thought that
what if that had been the
real Laurel and not a figment?
Say, for some convoluted reason, the Dominators had beamed up Laurel's remains and through some DNA-souping-splicing-mumbo-magic-o, that was the real, in the flesh Laurel that they just said goodbye to and left behind..?
Now you may ask, how do they even realize that's the real Laurel? Well Cisco of course! Have a closing scene at the end of the crossover where he is able to pick up something that belonged to Laurel. Say her BC nightstick, and he suddenly vibes her, and then has to tell Oliver than it was not an image from the past, but of the present, and that Laurel is somehow very much back alive and in need of help.
And very much remembering her sister, her friends and the man she loves walking away from her... Nothing like a little angst to spice a comeback.
Oh, were it not a dream...
