I'm not sure I want to see the Arrow creative team handling Supergirl ever again. This was like a caricature version of her, imo. Barry fared a little better, but not by much. It's a shame because I love the way the Flash creative team handles both Oliver and Kara.

I can't see Supergirl appearing in Arrow again either after this. It was beneath her.

I don't think they are even interested in her showing up again tbh. They like to keep to themselves and not go out of their comfort zone to much.

I personally loved the dream stuff and the 100 episode aspect of it. I could have done without the team arrow rookies. Seeing them more than Flash and Supergirl was disappointing.

I think what would have been cool was seeing them fight dominators on the ground while trying to figure out how to get on the spaceship. Them being on a spaceship was kind of duh.

Apparently Colin didn't even know about hologram Tommy lol.

I'm guessing Colton didn't either. His hologram was hilarious.

The intention was nice but they could've used that money else where.

Good because Arrow needs to get back to basics after a disastrous 4th season.

I'm starting to wonder if the Supergirl people are feeling the similar way.

I have inadvertently pre-polled. But I expect that to remain the same!

Okay, yeah, my vote is staying as is. Liked this episode, as much for the crossover as for the feels! Have to keep in mind that this is the Arrow's 100th, so it felt like the crossover did take a backseat for a lot of it, but I can't fault them. Sure I would have wanted more Kara and Barry, but that's because they are my favorite characters from all four shows.

And I can understand Felicity calling them in. They needed to deal with Cyberlady real quick, and the quickest way to do that was with supers. In fact the only Team Arrow member who could have handled her quickly was Ragman, as all the others would have struggled the way Wilddog was.

So yes, while they weren't there long, while they were there, it was epic!

Her little wave from atop top the trailer...:ilv:
She and Barry two-teaming Cyberlady and high-fiving as they switch! OMG that was great!:woot:
And then Kara punching her across the room and Barry giving her an atomic clothesline! Sweet!!:mnm:

Oh man, they did it well...

At least in my opinion. I'm reading how a lot of others differed and were a bit disappointed. As a crossover episode, it was light. But as an Arrow episode, it was tight.

And shows great insight into Oliver, and what he wants. As he stated himself, this interlude has shown him there is still a lot to do back in the real world. It's like he needed to see a flashback to not only remember how things were, but how they could have been and I would love for the writers to keep this is mind.

It would be terrible to just forget it, because I want Oliver to reference this experience as giving him a renewed sense of purpose and drive to clean up Star City and give others a little of the peace that he can only experience now in imagination. This could mark a major growth for the character - if they follow up on it.

And now, seeing Laurel again was awesome and doubles down on my hope that she'll be brought back onto the show. That whole sequence with them together should not have had to come during a fantasy. It should have come about after four seasons of them pushing and pulling at each and finally winning that moment of happiness. It has taken too long to get it, and it vanished way too soon...:csad:

Crap on whoever it was who decided to kill her off!!:cmad:

Bring her back, ye Gods of the Arrowverse! Bring her back...

Now for a little fantasy of mine own.

It came while Oliver was saying goodbye to Laurel and I had the sudden thought that what if that had been the real Laurel and not a figment?

Say, for some convoluted reason, the Dominators had beamed up Laurel's remains and through some DNA-souping-splicing-mumbo-magic-o, that was the real, in the flesh Laurel that they just said goodbye to and left behind..?

Now you may ask, how do they even realize that's the real Laurel? Well Cisco of course! Have a closing scene at the end of the crossover where he is able to pick up something that belonged to Laurel. Say her BC nightstick, and he suddenly vibes her, and then has to tell Oliver than it was not an image from the past, but of the present, and that Laurel is somehow very much back alive and in need of help.

And very much remembering her sister, her friends and the man she loves walking away from her... Nothing like a little angst to spice a comeback.

Oh, were it not a dream...

Or the Dominators could see how important Laurel was to everyone and decide to bring her back to life to play with everyones minds again and they end up saving her from them.

I like where your head's at, Primal. :D

Man, everything in the hallucination was excellent. Such a big love letter to the series and featured everything that was so good about it. Christ I've missed Laurel, Moira, and the Queen mansion.

While the hallucination stuff was great, everything to do with the recruits, Felicity, and Cisco did nothing for me. I can't stand Curtis and Wild Dog. They drag the show down so much. Even the stuff with Supergirl and Flash was meh. This part of the episode brought it down for me.

It would have been better if they removed most of the non-hallucination stuff, and only kept the important part of it IMO. They had to feature Barry and Kara though, because of it being a crossover. The Arrow 100th having to be a crossover was bad timing IMO. It is funny Felicity and the recruits were not trying to get Oliver and co free.

They could've found a better way to incorporate Barry/Kara. They really did nothing special in the episode, thus far they haven't really shown why Kara is needed.

Barry is self aware, and knows that getting Kara will bring in more viewers.

Sorry it wasn't all you wanted.:csad:

I'm sorry, did you see the high-five!!?:woot: Or the Barry-atomic-clothline?:wow:

Oh well...:yay:

Thanks Thome. I still enjoyed it, but I do not like how the crossovers rush through scenes so quickly.

Just so and drive that point home Arrow, yes Laurel can't be saved.

Sucks that they seemed to forget to include Quentin at the Queen household. Was hoping to see him/Dinah with Laurel and Sara.

Credit must be given to Guggenheim. He must have fought off his overwhelming and incessant urges to kill Laurel this episode. I am sure he could have found a way if he really wanted to, but he resisted. Fair play.

When I see Supergirl and Flash double team on Cyberlady, it was an echo of what Supergirl and Superman did back in Supergirl's 2nd episode of the 2nd season.

Supergirl and Flash just disappear for no apparent reason
was bad enough but.....
Green Arrow in Space
That's what I call Jump the Shark :-(

He did kill her in the end though basically lol. She ceased to exist after everyone walked through the portal.

Good episode, it was great seeing everybody back. I didn't realize how much I missed Moira in this series. Katie Cassidy once again was the emotional heart beat of this show. It's a shame Lance didn't have a moment to say goodbye to Laurel.
