I didn't, it's just that most of the episodes take place earlier in the order than you're probably looking for them.hi, i was just wondering why have u removed batwomen ? from the arrowverse list?
That's the plan. Now are you going to add Lucifer to the list? Because he was in the crossover when Constantine is helping bring back Oliver.
Sorry if that seemed rude. That's the plan.
Not at all.Sorry if that seemed rude.
Fixed, and updated to the best of my ability.I think Batwoman episode 6 was accidentally numbered as episode 7.
We’re playing it as if it’s in the five years before the show, Lucifer, started, so when Lucifer spent five years in LA before meeting the detective and all those things unfolding. This is him in his proper playboy, don’t-give-a-damn-about-anything stage in his life. He is very irreverent with our characters when they turn up in the scene and obviously, with Constantine, there is some history there.
Then there is no point in having Green Hornet, thats not confirmed. You can look it up, they put that easter egg there to include it in the series. Catwoman should be added or Green Hornet should be removedThat's more of an easter egg really. Unless Guggenheim or Berlanti say otherwise, I'm leaving Catwoman out.
Green Hornet has more than one straight up crossover appearance on Batman. Then there is no point in having Green Hornet, thats not confirmed. You can look it up, they put that easter egg there to include it in the series. Catwoman should be added or Green Hornet should be removed
Indeed he does. I rewatched the King Tut episode with Green Hornet and Kato's first (window) appearance just last night.Green Hornet has more than one straight up crossover appearance on Batman.
Lucifer star Tom Ellis on where his show fits:
So everything in the Arrowverse so far takes place at least five years before Lucifer starts.
Time passes differently on different Earths. When Barry travels from 2017 on Earth-1 to Earth-3, he's in 1997 and it's still the "present" on that Earth.Ellis does say that this is Lucifer five years prior to the his current story, but that's it. I'm sure the series Lucifer has current references and is the current timeline and that our heroes traveled to a previous timeline five years back where Constantine knew where to find him. With all the time travel and alternate universes in Crisis, it seems less likely that the Lucifer series takes place in the future and more likely that Constantine and Diggle traveled five years into a past timeline looking for him. Just my thoughts on that. Once the Earths and timelines are merged, Lucifer the series will be in the same current timeline as the rest (although it will likely never be mentioned again).
Ellis does say that this is Lucifer five years prior to [...] his current story, but that's it.
I’m of the view that what an actor (director, showrunner, etc.) says about their work can be a valid and informed opinion. But because this opinion exists outside of the narrative (outside of the “text”) it doesn’t count as canon.
In this case, however, I don’t think the Lucifer timeline matters all that much. Even in the most recent season, Lucifer was going back and forth between mature/responsible and his original, more hedonistic ways. So it’s possible that the Crisis scene caught him in the latter mood.Granted, the season 4 episodes were posted back on May 8, 2019. So its “present” and the Crisis “present” may not exactly line up. But it's pretty close; you don’t need to go back five years.
I agree with you about the actor, but he's speaking from his perspective, not that of the show, like you said. Also, he didn't say his show takes place five years after Crisis as much as he said this scene is showing his character five years before his series takes place. It makes zero sense to suggest that crisis takes place 8 or 9 years ahead of the current timeline in Lucifer. The mulitiple timelines and time travel of the Arrowverse just allow that this scene was Lucifer in a past incarnation where John knew where to find him.
Fixed, thanks.Arrow 8.05 is missing the word "Arrow" in the OP.
