Well, we have a new visitor to the hype boards and specifically to our section of it. He first posted in this thread; http://www.superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212453 and the name he is going by is Aquinnah. It's none other than Gary Foster.

Please, with the respect and curtosy that we've all shown MSJ, post any questions that you have for him here and weleome him aboard!

Now that the movie is finished, except for the effects and such, what was your favorite scene without giving to much away?

Could you post some revealing photo's of MSJ posting with the Ghost Rider jacket on? LOL

I asked the question in that other thread. What's up w/Luke Cage? Deathlok? Silver Surfer? Namor? Hulk 2? Iron Man?

Even a little tidbit of an update on either of these would be nice.

As much as we all liked to get info on other movies, I think they'll probably stick to talking about Ghost Rider... which is fine by me. Notice that MSJ never talks about DareDevil? I guess that's a way to keep all attention at the current project.

Well this is a nice surprise. I will be glad to chime in every once in a while with tidbits and to answer questions.

Just a quick response to the question about my favorite scene:

The abilty to watch Nic bring his special skills to the movie was very exciting to watch. He is an actor that comes prepared but also brings to work original ideas to explore. He always did what MSJ asked him to do, but because they trusted each other, MSJ allowed Nic to play. There are some very special moments, some of which are in the movie, that were not scripted, but an on the floor collaboration between Nic and Mark. You'll see.

Well, it is holiday time, so back to the vacation. I look forward to sharing more news with you all along the way. Happy New Years to all!

Gary

Uhh any proof that this guy is Gary Foster?

No absolute proof but I believe him because his posts were genuine.

(Edit: As I was posting this, he popped in. Funny)

Well no offense to anyone but you should have someone who is a moderator or running the site that confirms this. There was a poster on the X3 forum just a while ago and he seemed very genuine until some of the main people on this site said he was a liar. He said a lot of things that even when people were saying he was really a fake I still am kind of trying to believe him. Aquinnah isn't really saying anything that I couldn't make up. Sorry if I sound rude but I won't believe these kind of posters without confirmation.

I can totally understand where you're coming from. I'm sure somebody will pop in and let us know for sure, MSJ probably. For now, it's fun to believe him.

I was reading some of his previous posts and there are a couple from before he said who he was saying things like "MSJ, you are so cool. Sam Elliott? The next thing you know, Peter Fonda will be in the movie."

Anyway, Gary (if this is you), I have a question for ya. Is you're middle initial S or are you just pokin' fun at MSJ?

MSJ answered questions for me about other films including Silver Surfer, Thor, and Luke Cage. The difference is if this is Gary then he'd know even more than MSJ and I do believe it's him because his initials GSF were all he went by and he said he was a producer. Looking at the credits all you see is Gary Foster with no S. After searching I finally found the producers middle initial on a UK website and it was "S". That's when he admitted who he was. It's not unheard of and he has answered questions on the net before.

Looking at the new footage of Ghost Rider and the flames we can only pray the same effects are used in the video game. That should be no problem on the XBOX360 and the PS3.

Nice work Sherlock.

Happy Holidays, Gary. Thanks for dropping by.

I'd like to ask how and when you became involved with this movie.

Also, have you always been a fan of the character?

I agree with you. I was saying the same thing in another thread. I'm still not convinced it's him, but until it is proven that he isn't I'm going to go with it I guess.

It'd be very easy for MSJ to confirm this. Maybe you could post that in the ask MSJ forum to confirm it if you're not sure.

ive sent MSJ a pm about it a few days ago...if Aquinnah wasnt who he said he was Mark would have said something by now im sure.
either way im sure when he gets a chance he will officially confirm/deny it

I'm sure he will as well. He's probably taking a much deserved break from it all and spending time with family. He probably hasn't even checked his PM's yet. When he gets time, he'll let us know

I already asked that question earlier today in the recent ask msj thread

I love all the mystery about who I am. Well, I am me. And I am sure MSJ will confirm when he comes up for air.

You should know that Mark and I have been partners for a few years. We did DD and Elektra together as well as GR. I do not work for Marvel, so I am less up to date on the other Marvel projects. Mark and I have a company called Horseshoe Bay Productions and we develop other types of movies...not just Comic book genre fare.

I became involved with GR (just like DD) when Mark got involved. We worked on the script for awhile before Sony greenlit the movie.
It's been a great ride trying to figure out how to bring GR to life.
Avi and Ari Arad and Mike De Luca are my partners on this film too.

OK, I don't know what I have to do to convince you guys, but I'll keep responding when I can.

Yeah, and I don't want to be rude to the guy and scare him off though, I'm sure he understands that many people misuse the net and lie to others.

Edit: Sheesh! That's twice that I was in the middle of a post when you dropped in Gary. Crazy.

Well, enough of this debate on who you are. I belive ya and now on to the questions.

1) I asked his one to Mark as well; Is Avi the man or what? He seems like the most awesome guy on earth and I love hearin' him laugh. So genuine. Is he great like I picture him to be?

2) I'm not sure if you can talk about this or not but what's the main difference in working with Sony compared to Fox?

3) This isn't a question. You worked on the Short Circuit movies. That's cool as **** man!

i just have one for now:

i remember that you guys were thinking of shooting here in Texas. were there any locations that you were considering?

1. Avi is the man! He cares about his characters (properties) more than anybody I know. that's why Marvel finally became a giant when he and his team took over. I hope you get to meet him. I am proud to have made three movies with him.

2. Man, as much as I loved Australia, it would have so great to shoot in Texas. We scouted the Dallas area and Austin. Mark took a motorcycle ride from Dallas to New Mexico Border looking at possible locations. But budgets rule the day and It was more cost effective for us to shoot in OZ.

Well boys, I must sign off. Dinner awaits.

Avi is the man and saved Marvel after it was almost completely ruined and it's investors were raped by RP...and there are many here who complain about Avi but if they did some research they should be thanking him every day for the films we get to watch and for giving up the rights so cheaply of all the first Marvel films just to get things going enabling us to see Ghost Rider now. Those who question Avi's intentions should pick up the book "Comic Wars by Dav Raviv". Dan posts on the Yahoo forums now and then under the screen name comicwarsauthor on the Yahoo finance boards.

YOU hope I get to meet him? Imagine how I feel. I'd love to shake that mans hand... or any of your guys really. Anybody who brings us a live action Ghost Rider is a hero in my mind... or it is antihero?

As for OZ, they deserve films too and if it's cheeper, go for it! It's too bad for the Texans though, considering you guys made OZ out to look like Texas.

I think for the sequal, Ghost Rider should be snowbound and then you can shoot it in Canada. Yeah, that's the ticket! That way there's a better chance for me to be an extra or something. Mwa ha ha!

Dang! I could've got that Comic Wars book for Christmas, if I'd known about it. Bet it's quality.

:(
